The neighborhood is quite run down, there is lot of thrash around in the streets and it is not welcoming at all, it is not one of those touristy and nice districts of the city. However, after entering the hotel everything was fine

I was visiting a concert in the Meet Factory klub in Prague and was looking for a hotel that is situated close enough. I've chosen Akcent hotel because of its relative closeness to the venue and the great review score, and I was not disappointed. The hotel is situated behind a big bus station but a helpful sign made it easy to find the place. The building is also used as an office, so while the reception was on the ground floor, all the hotel rooms were in the 6th floor (lift did not stop at the intermediate levels). The lady at the reception spoke very good english and my room was better than expected. The bed was comfortable and there was free coffee and tea provided. There was also a minibar fridge with some food and drinks but it seemed to be a bit overpriced so I did not try it. Breakfast was good, there was everything present that you'd expect from a buffet breakfast. Tram and metro stops are right beside the hotel which makes travel very easy in the city.

Nicely renovated facility, a very friendly and helpful staff. A perfect location 2mins from a big shopping mall and 10 steps from the underground. Our go-to hotel in Prague.?

It has everything you need for a bed and breakfast accommodation. There is a bus stop and a metro stop close to the hotel and easy access to the airport and other destinations by public transportation. Lind supermarket is in the same building. Not too far from the old city center

My room in particular (solo bed) had awkward power plug positions, I had to recharge my devices on the ground. It's not very obvious how you are supposed to get to rooms upstairs and I had to double back to the reception to ask where to go: there is a special hotel elevator stuff there.

What I liked the most was the value and location (entrance to metro just in front of the exit). Finding the hotel was also not very difficult. As for the room, it was clean and had all the basics you would expect.

The room and bathroom were spotless, which is always a top priority for me. But what really stood out was the breakfast – it was not only delicious but also offered a variety of options to suit different tastes. Plus, the convenience of having the metro station right next to the entrance door made exploring the city a breeze. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

Poor accessibility - you have to walk up about 10 steps to reach the lift/elevator. Couches in lobby are low and uncomfortable.

Breakfast - Czechs like fat, I'm not so keen, but, there was a wide range of alternatives. Personally, once a year, a piece of back bacon- delicious, but, the bacon was very scrappy.

We thought we would have a full bed but it was like 2 twin beds put together. The stuff was a bit dry, some more kindness would be nice.

Breakfast was really good every morning, location was absolutely perfect (close to the buses, metros, easy to get from the airport, etc.) nice part of the city, supermarket and shops are close to the hotel. Room was okay, shower was really nice.

There was a bit of residual smoke smell in the room and there are stairs leading to the reception- not good for elderly or handicapped.

The room was clean, spacious and the breakfast very good with typical Czech products. The location is also very good and well connected.
