They take pets although we would have avoided staying here if the listing had said ‘pet friendly’. My husband is allergic to dogs. The first room they gave us had a foul smell -like a dog or cat had sprayed on the curtains. Definitely an animal smell. The first night they only offered us a smaller, dark room as an alternative. We stayed in the smelly room that night but had the windows opened wide. The next day we spoke to a reception manager named George. He apologized and immediately upgraded us to a suite. On that basis alone we might stay there again. But their listing should say pet friendly.

When we got to the room (No. 602) I felt the room did not match the photos for a premium room (it was more like the the next lower grade of room), the bed seemed to be a standard double in size, and the room size was pokey. I raised this with Reception, and the man there reassured me that the room was a premium room but I continue to have my doubts, however, with no argument he took me to another room to show it to me (and this was just as the photos of premium rooms were on their website), so I accepted that room (311). So, whilst I didn't like being given a room I hadn't booked, I am extremely happy with the way it was dealt with.

Well-positioned for Alexanderplatz train, metro and tram stations. The museum quarter was a 5 minute walk away, as was the TV Tower.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar area and staff were excellent. Chocolate treat left outside room on Easter morning was a lovely gesture. Check in and check our process was very easy. Very spacious room.

A rather noisy fan in the bathroom; self-check-in via a tablet was more complex than in-person procedure and very time-consuming.

Surprisingly, my room reservation was unexpectedly upgraded to a suite, which gave me a lot of extra space with comfortable seating area. There were also a spacious bathroom, a clean and comfortable bed, a huge TV, as well as a kettle and coffee machine, and an AC system that can be easily switched on/off (for silence in the room). Good central location, well connected. Good breakfast with vegan options (fried vegetables, home-made spreads, plant milk)

This item is not connected to the hotel, but rather to the Booking.com itself. I was cheated for the 'free airport transportation" and could not use. The detail correspondence with Booking.com customer center is available online. Booking.com staff - you really treated and cheated me badly!!!

Location: Fantastic, in the center, walking distance, of everything important and attractive in Berlin Downtown. Room: Very spacious with all basic and extra items needed for tourists: Coffee maker, Water heater, cups, free coffee cartridges, tea bags, etc. Breakfast: Excellent quality, very good offer of various breads, cheeses, coffees, teas, meats, fresh fruits and sweets. Breakfast facility: First-rate, spacious and very friendly staff.

The electric kettle didn’t work. The staff were quite friendly but a little more reserved than on our last visit to this hotel, some years ago.

It was an elegant, clean, convenient and comfortable hotel. Check in and check out were easy.

When closing the room door you actually have to slam it to close, so it was a bit disturbing during the evening.

Superb breakfast and a great location. Definitely will stay there next time.
