Parking is very limited and very tight on a steep hill but they accommodated us very nicely. No lift made luggage a bit difficult but staff helped carry our bags upstairs.

It’s a great location for easy walking distance to old town Tübingen. Older hotel with great charm.

We really enjoyed the whole experience. The hotel is located in the middle of old town, just below the castle, which was an experience on its own. We loved the location, the view from our room, the breakfast was excellent - a lot of variety of different dishes to choose from. The staff was so nice and answered all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very helpful and we were allowed to leave our car opposite the hotel. Had a very nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Fantastic location near the castle and the heart of the old town.

The hotel is next to the "Schloss Hohentübingen" (first built ano 1050). Nice view from there above the city.

One should know the hotel is old and without elevator. The personal carries the luggage to the room. The hotel is on the hill. The streets are narrow and parking is rare. The personal is very friendly and gives information about the city. Internet is o.k. . Severel power outlet with UBS.

There is no communal lounge or bar for people to meet up. Some rooms are in an annex across the street- we were slightly disappointed not to be in the main hotel German pillows difficult to get used to

Unfortunately there was no elevator.....so heavy suitcases have to be dragged up the stairs; The breakfast had kind of an identity crisis in the hearty section, with fish, olives and salade caprese amongst others to choose from.....but having said that, there was enough variety.

Staff were outstanding -- friendly, informative and very supportive (they gave us a place to wait during a particularly rainy morning before our train left). Breakfast buffet was sumptuous, with many choices. The location -- right next to the castle, and within a 1-minute walk to the Old Town area -- was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance while in Tubingen!

Minor complaints would be that the room was a little smaller than we anticipated, but that's how they built things way back when, so...... And also, the stair-steps getting up to the 3rd floor rooms are a bit steep and might not be perfect for older or mobility-challenged guests.

Great hotel, classic German historic structure right next to the town's castle. That means a narrow cobblestone alleyway approach and limited parking, but well worth the trip to stay in one of our favorite cities in Germany at a friendly, and well-run hotel. Great German breakfast buffet in the morning and helpful staff who, of course, all spoke English.
