Some issues we experienced during our stay included food we had left in the shared kitchen fridge in the morning disappearing by the afternoon, even though we had followed all instructions and labeled it properly. The shower drain was clogged, so water drained very slowly. The sink needed some repairs, and there were drafts coming in from the window. Also, the bed sheets had some stains when we arrived.

The location was very convenient, close to the main sights and the train station. The staff on site were kind, friendly and always ready to help. Check-in was flexible and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. There were complimentary tea bags for guests, which was a nice touch. The shared kitchen was clean and had almost everything we needed.

There is no dedicated place to park your bike. The staff told me to park it in the entry area but it was already full with other bikes.

It is really close to the railway station and getting your key out of the machine was very easy.

We only stayed one night but were pleasantly surprised — especially by the Swedish buffet breakfast (worth waking up for!). We also really appreciated that it’s pet friendly — our kitty settled in immediately and clearly approved. I did think we were getting the fancy room from the website... turns out there are several, and I just got excited too soon 😅. So just a small heads-up to future guests to double-check that when booking. But ours was still comfy and clean. Looking forward to staying again on our way back!

The reason why we choose the place was because it was written that they have place to park bicycles. When we arrived, in a rainy day with a todller, at the check-in we were first told that there wasn't a place to park bicycles and we should have reserve a (paid) garage (for cars), Later on we were told that we could store the bicycle in a room behind the hostel.

We were on a bike trip as a family and the place was enough for one night before we keep traveling. Beds were comfortable and room and facilities were very clean. Location is short distance from the main touristic spots. Kitchen is also nice and well equiped for a simple cooking.

Our room was located just next to a shared kitchen which turned out to be a bit noisy in the morning. I believe there could be a bit more showers and toilets per floor.

We got a room where the window was on more or less ground level. It was also very hot, and without the possibility to air out the room, we had to ask for å another room, which we got. But, room 210 is not pleasant.

It's within walking distance from the centre, and quite easy to find if you come by car. Does also have a private parking space. Rooms are you would expect, some appears to have a small kitchen with a fridge, which is useful.

❌ Bed was not actually a bed. It was a flat "couch" with a thin foam sheet on top and covered with a fitted sheet ("Flensbed" should be named "Flenscouch") ❌ Curtains have visible stains against sunlight. ❌ Not enough space to hang clothes, only two tiny wall knobs with 2 coat hangers. The chest of drawers is not useful and doesn't even have a mat to place luggage on top (I don't want to muddy the white surface!) ❌ Not enough towel hanging space. Instead of making use of the long wall opposite the toilet/shower to hang and dry towels, there are only 4 very narrow knobs above each other. Towels never properly dried until next use! ❌ No shower cabin, just a dirty shower curtain. Gross! Water constantly escapes and makes the floor wet! ❌ No shower soap or hairdryer available. ❌ Towels and sheets cost extra. (They offer for you to bring to your own sheets but don't mention the size of the blanket/pillow! And the ones you pay for DON'T fit properly either !!!) ❌ Not enough toilet paper provided for duration of stay. Had to ask several times for more. ❌ Some "light switches" are broken/do nothing.

✅ Area is very quiet, close to bus stations and within walking distance from city centre and harbour. ✅ Free coffee/tea station in entrance area. ✅ Room was overall clean if a bit dusty in places. ✅ Staff was friendly but not always available. ✅ WiFi was good, even in the room.

The beds are VERY soft and there is nowhere to put your things. I understand that a wardrobe would not fit due to the size of the room but a simple shelf on the wall would be very much appreciated.

The rooms are tiny but they have a private bathroom and shower, which is great. The common kitchen is great and very well equipped. Also, we arrived late and the keys were left for us in a box with a PIN code. Very much appreciated!

Convenient located and private parking availability. Friendly staff waiting for us despite arrival later than check in (no staff after 18.00). Little selection of food and beverages also convenient and rooms fine for one night short stay.

If you considder the place as a hostel , your on the right side. Everything is more or less basic . Rooms are clean and quiet , shower is ok and the breakfast is more than enough .
