Upon arrival they couldn’t find our booking somehow and the receptionist wasn’t any communicative to us just let us wait for long not looking at us just even, so the first impression was just weird.

Unfortunately, the room didn't have air-con and the fridge only had water. We stayed there every year and this was something new and unpleasant for us; we arrived after 10 PM and after a very long drive. Finding the fridge nearly empty was not pleasant.

On the positive, the room was very clean and quiet, well-ventilated and pet-friendly. The surroundings are beautiful and a walk after breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful as usual

Our suite had aircon which is necessary in the summer in Bavaria. But the other rooms did not have it, something to be careful of.

We had a suite and were very happy with it. Initial problem of not having an umbrella on the terrace was swiftly solved. I missed having room service which was provided a few years ago. The staff in reception and at breakfast is extraordinarily friendly and very helpful with any requests.

There are no doors to bathroom from the room,just for the toilet. My teenage daughter found it interesting. 🙂 There are no coffee facilities in the room.

Lovely town, great Greek restaurant, absolutely lovely bakery just around the corner from the hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The the reception the staff was correct but with a rough attitude, didn't feel welcomed and even in the restaurant the staff was busy, not courteous or welcoming. Restaurant food was very average. Breakfast very average and again did not feel welcomed. Cold atmosphere created by the staff.

Hard to find using Maps/GPS. Main entrance is on a little one-lane street (doesn't have a name?) between the hotel and a large common-use parking lot.

Hotel was nice with the basics. You can walk/hike to the very nearby Walhalla Monument and Donau (Danube) River through nice woods and fields. Lots of free parking by the hotel.

Noise. Our initial room was facing Maxstrasse and was hot, we opened the window for ventilation and the road was noisy and distracting. We asked for another room. Always ask for a room facing the front/courtyard - as in the picture.

The breakfast was excellent. The newer room facing the courtyard was very good. They changed our roomand did not act put out. Plus, no extra charge.

There was very hot in the room, so we tried to sleep with the window open, but that helped only a little bit. In addition, the street is rather quiet, but a car or truck still passes by like once every hour over the night, and that is so loud with the window open that I woke up every time. I understand that the hotel has air conditioned rooms as well - might be needed in summer

Hotel chose to renovate ceiling during breakfast time. Noisy and disturbing - had to ask workers to step aside to get to food. Not possible to get still water at the breakfast. Room was extremely hot with no real possibility of air. Especially bathroom was stuffy. Sofabed was of low quality - not good for an adult back.

Quality of breakfast was in general good.

Unfortunately, it was not possible to open a window in the bathroom and the window of the room was directly above the kitchen, so the room was noisy and smelled of food in the evening, as well as in the morning.

The hotel is located in a wonderful location near the banks of the Danube. A huge parking lot, a fantastic dinner, a generous breakfast and a huge room awaited us.
