Modern small hotel at a farm. Very nice people. Good parking and ev chargers. 20 min walk to city center (when its dark bring a flashlight). Beer draught tap and fridge with lot of drinks available. Good breakfast buffet.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Hotel well located in peaceful surroundings, only a short distance from the centre of Xanten - and a variety of shops and restaurants. We were travelling along the route of the River Rhine by bicycle and were able to safely store our bicycles at the hotel. A great hotel for a visit to Xanten and the surrounding area.

Breakfast was excellent, The hotel is located in an area that invites for (short) hikes. The nearby city of Xanten with its Roman past is a nice bonus!

I booked this hotel for my friend. She was traveling with two kids. I spoke with the owner explaining that my friend will be very late for check-in and the owner stayed until midnight for them which I found super nice and professional. My friend told me the place is very beautiful, clean and the food was very good and diverse. It is like a small paradise according to her. I'm so happy the kids liked it too and the beds apparently were very comfortable too. There is a good parking too which was perfect especially when you coming with your car. My friend said she will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The only thing we missed is a kettle to make your own tea/coffee. It could be easily added next to the place with the fridge and snacks.

Very nice small hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room looked nice, fresh, and very clean and the view from the room window was great (overlooking the barn, trees, and fields). There is also a playground for small kids next to the hotel. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very well located. It's outside the city and surrounded by fields and woods. So it is very quiet. From the hotel, it's just 20mn walk to the city center and 30mn to the archeological park Xanten (you can buy a ticket at the hotel at reduced price). You can even borrow a bike.

Beautiful country setting across from a farm. Nice patio we access from our room. Very nice in-expensive breakfast. Easy access from major highways and a very interesting centre of town in Xanten.

Although there are beers and soft drinks available from a fridge, the setting was so lovely and so peaceful at night I personally really felt like sitting on the patio with a nice glass of wine or maybe a brandy. I understand the running of a bar may not be possible but perhaps a note on Booking.Com to mention that these are not available so one can prepare accordingly.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a delightful setting, this is the place to go and it's located 2 minutes by car to Xanten town centre (15 minutes walk) with all the facilities you need including a number of good restaurants.

A note rather than a issue - the double beds are the common German two mattress affairs. A billing mistake was quickly and apologetically rectified.

Friendly staff, comfortable very clean room with a view to the meadow and horses. Breakfast was great with a good selection of breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits. Easy onsite parking and pleasant walking routes in the immediate vicinity. 15-25 walk into town.

Amazing hotel for families. Very nice location with garden and a playarea. Really nice and helpful personal. We went for a weekend combining it with a visit on the beach. Would really recomend this hotel.

We missed some eye for detail: to darken the room for some privacy, there is either an transparent curtain, or an apocalypse-ready roll screen, completely darkening the room. The lightning, which is then needed, is either 0 or 100, no dimming possible.not so nice to wake up to in the morning. if you go for a pee at night, you have to be quick, otherwise the loud ventilation turns on, and will stay on annoyingly long. One side of the room has a forest-nature like theme, the other side was more Sissi-palace classical. Both are fine, but combined? Room was quite echoing, not so cosy acoustics. The breakfast hall was again very classy, but the staff was quite informal (which was nice). In short, the consistency was missing, the final touch was not there. And that is all absolutely okay, but combined with the pricing, we found ourselves a bit disappointed.

The facilities are absolutely fine. Breakfast is great, room is clean and tidy.
