the main road to go to the hotel was closed because of some works on the main road and in the night by using very small roads trough the wood the hotel was not easy to find there is no room service which is strange despite to the standart level of the hotel

Nice historical location within a park next to the Elbe River Nice spa, but not as clean as the rooms, some functions did not work properly like the ice maker or the water spray in the sauna

Its a Health Spa that had no messages and the pool was closed on the second day... So just a hotel but a nice hotel:)

Not much actually. Only the pillows could do it with a bit more filling. Otherwise everything is a bit dated but very well maintained and in order. A bit too busy with welcome emails closer the day of arrival.

Great big property set in a landscape surrounding. Quiet, spacious, with the breath of ancient times. Very easy to find, great chaussee leading to it, tram station just a few minutes away. Breakfast selection very pleasant with decent quality. Spacious breakfast room and a conservatory as a bonus. Very clean. Quick service. Didn’t use the spa area hence can’t tell.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been good

Location is at the end of a Tram line in Parkland so is quiet. Hotel itself is also quiet. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice of food and the restaurant is also good. There is also a nice bar area. Car parking is available on site. Centre of Mageburg can be reached in about 20 minutes by tram, the Messe is about five minutes away.

One issue was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We were told if we wanted a coffee, we had to buy one from the restaurant. Despite the huge choice at breakfast, both the croissants and the rolls were somewhat stale. Really surprised at this, because the hotel has a very upmarket restaurant.

Beautiful setting, being right by the park. Convenient for the tram into town. Our room was a good size, with a/c which was useful because of the warm weather. Huge choice at breakfast.

the bathroom looked dated and in need of refurbishment food was nice but the price of dinner went up 50% since last year, not very good value for money. the price of the room also went up by about 50%. I am not sure how this can be justified.

Bed was quite big but not very big as marked. Breakfast was good, quite diverse, but not exceptional- 21 euros is a lot to pay for it.

Pleasant hotel, art-deco style, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very friendly personnel. Good restaurant. Spacious room with needed facilities. Bathtub was a plus when travelling with a child.

Nice, but relatively small indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam bath at additional cost. Airconditioning on the top (4th) floor can hardly keep up with outside temperature over 27'C.

It was very disappointing that the swimming pool is not free for the hotel guests and you have to pay extra per person to use the pool and spa!

Great hotel in a beautiful location with lots of greanery Food in a restaurant was a bit pricey but tasty and fresh Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We'll probably come back again.

Stayed in a Deluxe Double room. A bit outdated. No walk-in shower. Small flatscreen TV hidden in a cupboard (put in inconvenient spot). No good coffee maker. No room service, limited online delivery option. Hotel restaurant is good in my experience, but be sure to book it in advance. Very dirty windows in main staircase (and I was not the only one using it). I expect more nowadays from a hotel like this, even if indicated "art deco" setting. This hotel has other rooms that are offering better value for money.

Location is great. Room size was amazing. Breakfast was OK, plenty of choise. Friendly staff. I still expect to return next year for these reasons, but will likely pick a different room option.

As always a great stay at the stylish Herrenkrug. We always stay here on our yearly family trip back and forth to Poland. It is a relaxing place away from the highway to relax, walk in the nice park, swimming pool, enjoy the good buffet restaurant and spacious family rooms. Altogether not a cheap stay but worth it!

I really hate it when an accountant has been let loose on the numbers.I did not like the concept of charging 16 Euros to park.1 more than 15 which was the obvious number..The moment we started to use our room.you could tell a bean counter has been given access to the system. Miminimsl provision of toiletries.2 identical bottle of shower gel.That was it..A smallish towel each which was on the verg of being threadbare.A shower with old fashioned 2 tap controls and a Plastic 2 part door just past it's sell by date. The smallest electric kettle available which would not work in the electric point on the floor beside but did in the second by the bed..and then an really appalling presentation of what could be used for morning coffe or tea.It looked terrible and it was The herble tea offering of one bag was silly.Especial when you then proceed to breakfast proper and saw what could be done. A shame since the building and all the staff we met were a delight and the the setting remarkable.

The location, the dinning room architecture, the surrounding park land.the way our evening meal was cooked and in particular the man who was our waiter for the evening.His watchful eye and knowledge meant we are looked after properly and professionally and he knew about the history when asked..Breakfast continued with proper 5 star stuff with a huge choice. .

some furniture would have to be renewed , they don't stick with the standing of a 4 stars Hotel . Same for the breakfeast which is costing a lot with not a very large choice . This really would have to be improved

this hotel is very well located in quiet country area . Not really easy to join from yhe highway Hannover to Berlin , but this is a small effort . Room and all equipment are is a perfect cleaned statement .

The bed is very low (and too soft) for me.
