The floor in my room was SO noisy, it was wooden and squeaked a lot. The room wasn’t very clean before we entered. I was in 5 people, and they gave us only one key, when asked if they could give another key, it was asked to leave a 100€ deposit. Also we noticed that the room key was the same to open our door and the external door of the hotel. So we wondered if everyone in that floor had keys that opens all the rooms.

Near to public transports, good neighborhood, excellent breakfast.

The stairs to the 1st floor. But we have had stairs everywhere we stayed in Berlin at friends apartments so it wasn't so bad..

We loved the old style.. the room was so cool and relaxing with a green tree filled courtyard the windows opened up to..nice dark curtains and comfy beds. The bathroom was a bit small but we didn't mind. The breakfast included was a lovely bonus and great quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great location and we loved the building.

The third bed was a bed. it was just a mattress on a bunch of folded up blankets which made the sleep uncomfortable.

The double Bed was nice and location and price are perfect.

The place is a labyrinth of small stairs. If you are just travelling with a backpack it's ok. If you have luggage, this property should be avoided

The location of the property is great. The bus stop is hardly 5 minutes from the hotel. Along the bus route, there are multiple connections to the S Bahn

Having to climbed stairs to go down to my room and then back up to leave the room. I have a very bad back and bad knees and to climb the stairs with a suitcase and to go down the stairs with a suitcase was extremely difficult.

How close it was to all the bus stations and train stations.

Initially told me there wasn’t an elevator to go on the first floor, with heavy big lagguage I struggled so much going upstairs… but actually there is an elevator so it was all good

Very big, uncomfortable pillows. Some fresh cucumbers and tomatoes would be nice at the breakfast, but otherwise it`s fine - good coffee/tea, eggs and toasts.

Old building with some charm, and interestiung breakfast room upstairs on 4th floor. Basic furniture in bedroom and laid out for a single bed with spare divets giving me extra warmth. Functional only, not super comfort, but the building a had a soul - large windows, wooden stairs and wood panelled lift. Lady on the desk very helpful indeed - sharing an ironing board and also a kettle for making tea in the room. Thank you!

My comfy room was down a steep flight of stone steps.

I was lucky to find this quality hotel in a posh area of Berlin especially as it was so close to Christmas. Good value breakfast buffet which was included in the room rate.

Small bathroom, old building turned into hotel. Lots of creaking sounds on floors. Front desk staff not welcoming doesn’t smile or greet guests.

Property is in good location close to shopping centers and restaurants nearby. Subways station 10minute walk.

The noise insulation was basically nonexistent, we could hear anything from other rooms and the lobby outside. Another problem was that we had to let the water flow for like 10 minutes before having warm enough water to shower. This last one we were informed about at least.

The hotel is located at a great spot, anything is easy to reach with public transportation. The place is well kept, our room was basically cleaned daily. The breakfast was nothing special but it was good to have that option. We did not have a hairdryer in our room but the staff kindly provided one when asked. Overall still a positive experience with a few problems we're willing to overlook for the great price. Considering staying here at our visiti next year if nothing better comes up.

The pillow was very hard, but that's a personal preference.

In addition to the fair price, the location is certainly the biggest advantage of this hotel. I don't think it could be a better location, because everything is very close, and at the same time it is a safe location, in a part of the city with very expensive shops. A bus runs 100 meters away. The room faced the yard, no noise was heard. Everything was neat and clean. The staff were polite and pleasant to talk to. The pillow was very hard, but that's a personal preference.

I really didn't like that it wasn't a five star hotel but then again, a five star hotel wouldn't really have liked to offer a room for that price.

Everything is just on the right side of the line. Old building but clean, small bed but big enough, slightly grumpy receptionist who left before I could ask for a watercooker but they were left in reach at the reception. Breakfast included decent coffee and was otherwise also good.

Through Booking, we paid for a room with three beds, for three adults. Two beds were fine, and the third one was unfortunately very uncomfortable. For 3 people, they gave a total of 6 towels: 3 large, 2 small + 1 floor towel for the bathroom. Towels are not changed for at least 4-5 days.

The lady at the reception is very kind and helpful. The location is excellent. Very quiet street in the immediate vicinity of the main one. An old but well-maintained building with an elevator. Continental breakfast, with basic ingredients, sufficient for this type of pension. Good wi fi. This was not a 5-star hotel, but the price was right for the planned budget.
