For the price I paid I am not going to complain, if you want luxury 5 star accommodation pay 5 star prices! This was not a 5 star hotel, but the price suited my budget. It was fine

For what I paid it was fine, the Kima is located on the fourth floor of an old building. The lift is rather old fashioned and small, but the room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was fine. Only a short walk to the Kurfürstendamm, the main shopping street in the western part of Berlin.

No toiletries in the bathroom except hand soap. Room was a bit too cold. Breakfast was minimalist. Would be nice if they added some scrambled eggs and some tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper (vegetables). Not a huge effort but it would be much better. Bed was quite uncomfortable, pretty worn out mattress. Internet was non existent in our room.

Every other day the lift was broken and had to walk up to the top floor on very old staircase. Not sure if it’s a constant problem or I was just unlucky.

The mold in the bathroom ceiling and the elevator that didn't work. Also there was no hairdryer.

There was still used towels from a guest before us in our bathroom and hair in the shower. The breakfast was a bit lacking, but ultimately you got fed.

- Situated in a vivacious area with many restaurants and bars, close to one of the city’s commercial avenues; - the hotel is an entire floor of an old building, maybe not the most comfortable to access - 4th floor, like a maze :), but this was an experience itself - to live in an historic building, like the Berliners.

Little outdated. Building has lots of charm but quite old and we needed to use the lift for the pram and suitcases and to get upstairs to reception and our room. Lift is very small and old style, but glad they had one, so we didn't have to lug bags and pram up the stairs

The hotel is very well located in almoust in the center of Berlin. Underground station is nearby. Old Berlin house with fantastic elevator, stairs, windows.. Comfortable enough in a really good place.

The reaction of tha staff at the reception was a bit slow, like if they haven't recognised that someone arrived. A bell to ring or similar solution could do the trick...

The breakfast selection was very good, which was a pleasant surprise. Other than that "did the job", provided what it should provide.

The building was old and the floors were creaking. Staying on the fourth floor with creaky floor felt like the floor is going to collapse. The elevator was really bad and shaking. Felt like it could snap at any moment

I didn't like the sound that the pipes made every we would turn on the tap and when we would try to shower. It is not that bad, but I think it was loud enough to disturb the nearby rooms. I don't know if it can be fixed since the building is very old, but it was the only thing I didn't like.

I really liked the location, it was in the neighborhood that was very well connected to the city center. The building is old, from the beginning of the 20th century, but it it very well kept and clean. The staff is also very polite and helpful, they provided us with all the necessary information for our stay. The reception didn't work 24/7, but they gave us all the keys we would need so we were free to come and go whenever we wanted. Breakfast was delicious and there were so many choices from which we could pick from.
