It was cool outside, but our room was always very hot. Left doors open, but we’re bit by mosquitoes and there was a terrible smell outside. The shower was incredibly moldy.

The man on the front desk was incredibly rude and patronising. I spent the whole time in the hotel dreading having to bump into him again and hoping he was not there. I couldn't really believe how rude he was and it completely spoiled the stay for me.

Though a bit expensive, the room and breakfast were fit for purpose.

The hotel needs a little bit of an update as some of the decor is looking dated.

A great hotel in a fantastic location for visiting the lake and the cable car. We had a huge room and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The bed was comfy, breakfast was excellent, it all went well.

the guy at the reception was very rude unfriendly and tried to be a smart ass. He is not German and should appreciate the Country which does allow him to be working. If he wants to be rude he can go back to the country he came from. I did read that this guy is charging for the room again if he does get a bad review. I dare him since i will be back in this area and will make it a point to show up with the cops

One of the rooms in the apartment was stuffy. No windows or fans. Bathroom could use updating. Maybe more utensils in kitchen.

The view from our balcony was breathtaking! Service was amazing! Breakfast was great. We had a really good experience.

The staff was non existent - barely visible and not accommodating at all. We asked to park our car the day before but there was nobody at the reception and they basically told us to come back an hour later and we had to leave for a hike as we needed to get to a hut for the night. The place is bare bones and its not worth the price. Beds were very old and was very springy and uncomfortable

1.we live there for 3 nights, we left early and come back late,we couldn’t reach reception to get breakfast card,It would be better if we could have our breakfast cards when we check in. 2.the room just provide 1 small garbage can which is in the bathroom, usually hotel rooms have 2 garbage can,that would be nice. 3. we found a pair of socks in the room,it might belong to previous tenant.

Love the room,warm and cozy, enjoy the hot tub,breakfast was awesome, surroundings was quiet and pretty scenery.

Pay on hotel without notice. Credit card charges 2% without notice. Locked the front door without notice. The key can open the front door without notice. Bad service.

Staff ruined the stay, paid for larger room but given standard. Politely asked for refund for the difference to be told to goto court. Unbelievable. Started badly upon arrival with check in. Arrived during advertised open times no one in reception. Waited 1.5hrs for someone to arrive. Can not recommend due to the terrible owner. Look elsewhere.

As most other reviews great location let down by terribly rude staff and owner.

The room has a electronic hot pot. I stayed for 4 days but it seemed that not refill the tea bags everyday.

While this was not a problem for me, if you need an elevator, they do not have one -- long stairs to first floor and above

Everything advertised on Booking.com was correct -- even about the rooms being sound proof. Breakfast is free, unlike many hotels in Europe. I slept better than in any of the others hotels where I stayed in Bavaria. Free bus passes!!! A money saver.
