Excellent family-run B&B hotel hospitality in a great location. Lovely varied breakfast. Coffee and cake in the afternoon too. Easy access to Fuessen town and the castles with a free guest pass as well. Lots of rural walks around the area and some good restaurants nearby. Great supermarket in town.

Exceptionally friendly and accomodating staff, cozy room, great location (5 minute drive to the mountain parking lot, 15 minute walk to a decent restaurant). Pet friendly and accepting cats! Very good breakfast.

Lack of services during extreme weather.

The location was beautiful with mountain and castle views and was magical in the snow. Nearest shop is a bit of a walk but the hotel does provide drinks and cakes. Breakfast wasn't great, we booked breakfast due to the raving reviews but ir was very basic and in my opinion not worth £10 per person. No other snacks provided which was a little but disappointing as at the time we were there it was very thick snow and we had no choice but to walk half hour to the nearest shop for food. No restraunts or pubs near by. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The corner door on the shower confused my husband and apparently he didn’t close it all the way so when I went in there was a lotta water in the floor. 🙄 but can be avoided by lying attention lol

The owners were super nice. We LOVED the hassle free check in after hours, directions were clearly written which made for an easy night. Location to the castles was the main reason for booking but it was nice and comfortable and clean.

Wonderful location in easy walking distance of both castles and the cable car up to the top of the mountain where you can take many different hiking trails back down. The staff were super friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!

This hotel was very nice and clean with excellent choice of quality continental breakfast items breakfast was 3 breakfast sitting from 7:00 am 8:00 am and 09:00am this was to ensure that all guests had the same choice. The attention to detail from all the staff has to be commented, very helpful indeed explaining each step in detail. They did not serve evening meals however recommended the local Brewery for some traditional Bavarian cuisine …. Which was 1st class and served quickly. The mattress on our bed was excellent and we had one of the best sleeps since we started touring Europe over 2 weeks ago. We would like to thank all the staff for making our stay so memorable…. Thank you again Eddie and Marie

Everything was up to the level of our expectations!

Very nice property, the breakfast buffet was delicious and very fresh! We loved the room, it had a view to the castle and it was located in the second floor. The room was big enough, we had a little balcony to enjoy the landscape and the bed was comfortable (not too soft and not too hard). The front desk crew were helpful!

It's a bit far from the town for walking, especially if it is hot, but we had a car and drove into Fussen to visit the restaurants there.

The staff are very nice and are clearly trying to create a special little hotel for their visitors. We stayed in the family room and it was comfortable enough for 4 adults. The breakfast is very good and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are driving as they have parking onsite.
