Sauna is still advertised but is not working for several months. The staff is not friendly. We assumed they might be under staff during low season.

Location is great, the swimming pool and the menu for dinner is amazing! The restaurant that is not yet renovated is the best area. Cozy, bricks walls, chimney, wooden ceilings...It really gives the atmosphere you expect in these locations.

Good view of the area and lake. The vintage style older rooms are legendary and in an amazing good state (and German style very clean), half of the rooms of the hotel are now rebuild and look very good, other half is planned to be restyled which is good but we will miss the older rooms/bathrooms

Hotel looks very 'tired' (brownish colors, old furniture, etc); elevator is so small it only fits one person properly.

The kitchen took quite a while for dinner. We waited more than 45 minutes for a Schnitzel.

We arrived late and the kitchen closed at 18h, which is very early for hikers. We had nothing to eat and ended up eating crisps from a kiosk.

The hotel is old fashioned and there seems to be a lack of staff, particularly at the reception. Cleanliness is ok, we had to wait 1 day for a repair to our sink. Shower is on the same water line as the toilet, so if you flush while showering the shower gets really hot! Pillows are worthless. No AC available, it was very hot during our stay but yeah it s a good summer. Price is very jacked up in the holiday season.

Great location on Rursee, easy access and parking. Conveniently close to the lake, nature, ship, restaurants. Ok inside swimming pool, good breakfast. Dog friendly. Friendly staff.

Perfect service, we asked for hot water just as the restaurant is closing, so the lady restarted the machine to help us get the hot water. Beautiful view towards a dam.

The rooms were not quite as we expected, as we thought they were in need of a slight modernisation for the price we paid. We had a balcony room, but the floor slabs outside were a little loose & made a bit of noise when stood on, which was annoying & made us aware of where we stepped, for us & neighbours. There should be a privacy screen between the rooms.

The location was great for the areas we needed to visit. The staff were very friendly & helpful & were Covid alert. Upon arrival we were informed that use of the pool & sauna were available for our use should we require them & were advised of the opening times & costs.

Because of being an old building, noise comes from the taps and pipes. The swimming pool was closed and there is no information about it on the internet.

The Hotel's location is very good. The staff is always doing their best to help if someone asks questions. The kitchen is amazing! Breakfast was ok, as well.
