How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Room was warm, window open for the night. Smoking area is upfront the hotel, people smoking till late, all fine. But the sound of their voices is is reflected on all outer walls and makes it very noisy...
Friendly staff! Wide choice, selection at breakfast buffet. Good bed. Lovely old fashion-styled bathroom, wooden washbasin.

Convenient to the airport. Easy to find street parking for free. Good size room for family of 3 with luggage. Will stay here again.

A bit of renovation perhaps. Cold shower water from time to time
Great Location, super friendly staff, specially the shuttle driver. I was stuck due to bad weather conditions in Frankfurt and he was fit and friendly and good driving late in the evening.

The room was humid and hot. Due to this we turned ON the A/C, but it was too noisy. Everything else was good. Thanks for the kettle to heat the water for tea.

Location, cleanness and helpful staff make this Hotel exceptional. Great breakfast with plenty of food to choose from. Easy access to the train station to to go Frankfurt's main centre. Highly Recommended.

The place does not have restaurants close by. However, the dinner at the hotel was very nice.
The room we had was large, the bed comfortable, the breakfast fantastic and the hotel very comfortable. The S Bahn is close by which has connections to go to the city centre. They offer you an infusion water flavored with cucumbers near the reception all day which is a nice service and also an apple to go :)

Too much noise during night. Frame should be more acoustic isolated. I don’t sleep very well because of bed and also noise.

Originally gave us (mother/daughter traveling together) a small room with a full sized bed, no a/c. Not what I had booked. But when I pointed out my booking, they quickly remedied the situation and gave us a room with twin beds, a/c. Felt like they should have given us that room in the first place.
The second room we got (they corrected their mistake) was very nice; what we expected. Breakfast was very good; lots of choices. Had dinner in the hotel which was delicious/excellent. Not close to shopping but took a short taxi ride to a main street with a grocery store, cafe, small shops.

Aged. Retro hotel traveling back almost 30 years. But I quite like old feel of the hotel.
Friendly staff, great location to FRA, nibbles for early leavers.

The equipment is old (although well maintained) and there is no air conditioning system, but considering the low price of the stay and the fact that the hotel is used for sleeping between flights, this is not a big inconvenience.
The hotel is located in a small quiet town, near the airport. Very quiet and peaceful area. The hotel is clean. The restaurant is nice and offers two meal options - buffet for 19 euros and a la carte with free consumption. The bar offers good beer and other drinks. The staff is friendly and responsive. The best thing is that the hosts provide a free shuttle to the airport. The shuttles are very accurate.

The room felt a little too muggy and warm.

The pillow bolsters on the beds. Not comfortable for my bad neck. I had to use an extra pillow but still not comfortable. I could have done without them. My sister did not like how far away it was from the main city centre.
Surroundings, room reception, coffee. Good aircon and fans. Friendly reception staff and helpful given our circumrstance. And the cook was not put out by our late meal given our late arrival.

Shuttle driver was unfairly rude with us despite we let hotel staff know about cancellation of one way shuttle service. Lack of communication between staff members.
