If you are messy Pepe won't appreciate, but the guesthouse is perfect otherwise featuring comfy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, lovely garden and excellent location.

Pepe is an excellent host, his place feeling more like a meticulously clean homestay. He can arrange excursions at unbeatable prices and the nearby restaurant opposite the church uphill is maybe the best on Galapagos.

We absolutely loved staying at Palma del 2 Pepe is one of the kindest gentleman we have ever met, him and his family are so welcoming and nothing was ever too much trouble. Pepe will always do the best for you, weather that be tours, taxis, laundry or alternative accommodation because you wanted to stay and Palma del 2 was full. We ended up spending 14 days with Pepe in the end and we definitely didn’t want to leave. Would definitely stay here again, rooms are big and cleaned daily, there is space for your clothes, a shared kitchen fully equipped with utensils and there is seating inside and out. Cannot thank Pepe and his family enough for our wonderful stay at Palma del 2 and making us feel apart of his family. Thank you Pepe, Emily & Tayte

The bathroom was quite small and hot, but still was very good

The property is simple, but offers everything you need. The beds are comfy, bathroom was a clean, AC was working good and the kitchen is nice. They offer free water refills and fresh fruits. Pepe is a really outstandingly nice host.

The location could be better as it was 10-15 minutes walking to the centre and the port. There was not a lot of ambiance in the common area. No lockers available.

The room was small but had all you need. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen was well equipped to cook a decent meal. Pepe was really kind and gave tips for what to do in San Cristobal.

It was a bit of a noisy from a tin roof banging due to wind during the night, but nothing to fault the lodge as is not their fault. Internet in the area is very slow.

This lodge was very easy to get to from airport, taxi ride took just few minutes, walking to main town is really easy and beaches around. The owner and his family are really attentive and kind, he speaks good english, and he helped us with our laundry and advise on excursions. The place is basic but well look after, We will definitely come back.

Shower had a high step, which is dangerous if it's slippery after the shower. Quite far from the port and center, access only through dirt road.

The owner was very helpful explaining all important stuff for the hostal, the island and possible tours. He even negotiated a good price for me. Close to Playa Mann. Drinking water available.

It's hard to complain about negative points for cheap accommodation, as I firmly believe that you get what you pay for, and I'd be happy to stay here again, but in the interest of sharing information... Extremely poor WiFi. Only two working electrical sockets.

The owner and his sister were incredibly helpful. He gave so much advice and help and provided free snorkelling gear and even have me free oranges, which were delicious and sweet. Hot water in the shower. Comfortable bed. Use of kitchen. Air conditioning. Bedside table. Bedside lamp. Good price.

I had such a nice stay here. It was very relaxing and quiet. The place felt so homely. I had my own room and bathroom which was a lovely change from typical hostals. There is a kitchen and sitting area. Prompt laundry service at a very good price. Pepe was lovely and so helpful. He helped me organise tours and taxis at great prices. The location is good, It is less than a 10 minute walk to the main area and feels very safe. I would absolutely stay here again.

Pepe the owner is really sympathic, I also appreciate the place because you can eat outside. Also Pepe let me use for free snorkeling devices and helps me for visiting the island. The hostal is close to the beach.

We didn’t like the negative opinions of others about this house, and we cannot understand their reasons! 

The owner speaks perfect English and is extremely helpful. There is a nice place in the garden with seats, a table and everything you need. Clean and big kitchen, well equipped for cooking and a big fridge.  located near to the beach with perfect snorkelling options.
