United KingdomThere was a few power cuts at night which meant our air-con switched off and it was quite uncomfortable for us as it was so hot. I would of also preferred to be able to get the hotel bus to the beach past 7pm as the restaurant down at the beach was really cool with great food. The buffet was quite repetitive so we would of liked to have something different location and food wise. As there isn't a lot to do in the evenings with low effort entertainment, we wanted to watch TV but it was all Arabic channels. It would of been great to have access to Netflix or amazon prime for international guests.
Very pretty hotel. Really lovely and helpful staff. Our room was a great size for us two, the bed is super comfortable. As well as very clean. Menu was great. The beach was our favourite part, a few water sports activities down there and the ocean is beautiful. Me and my partner also loved the gym, so many pieces of equipment and very spacious with a great view and well air conditioned. We went everyday as we enjoyed it so much!

However, I was disappointed with the entertainment options, which were very limited, there was almost no music at the beach or the pool. Additionally, a wheelchair-accessible room for guests with disabilities was only available at a higher price. Overall, it was a good stay.

IrelandI am disappointed by the 'welcome' and attitude of the staff at reception. For people coming from outside Egypt know that this is unusual in Egypt, as the majority of people working in the hospitality industry in Egypt are extremely welcoming and kind. This was my 3rd time being checked in by Ahmed at reception and each time he was quite gruff, unfriendly and almost resentful. I would encourage the management to speak with him as he really does not do the hotel justice. On the other hand Mahmoud in the restaurant was really professional and accommodating and helpful and very kind.
I have stayed at the hotel 3 times in total and I think the place is a decent option for Sokhna. Its not too expensive, the food is good and the general standard is fine. It is a very nice compound and there is a access to a great Gym.

I recently stayed at Tanoak Hotel for three nights and four days, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience. We loved the sea view and found the food to be delicious. The staff were friendly, and the unique theme of the hotel added to the charm.

EgyptSwimming pool is not tiled but lined. Lining need repair. No ladder except at level 1.65 m. No ramp or ladders at less heights, but 50 cm hard steps. No different colours at borders, inner steps or pool bar seatings. Conclusion: Very dangerous.
Breakfast and dinner are very good. Staff is very helpful. Swimming pool is bad. Beach is too far and transportation is tiring.

Egyptthe beach is far however they provide shuttle bus every hour but unfortunately it ends at 6pm … what if I want to go by z sea at night? u can’t except wiz ur own car, no night life or activities at all although it’s written on a board at z entrance of z resort!

EgyptIt is a motel type rather than a hotel. Animation team are very bad, you won't recognize they exist. You must take beach towel with you from pool side and carry it all the way and back. Beach entrance team are rude and have no clue how to treat a guest.
Beach is fantastic and beach facilities are good it really worth daily long distance must take (but a shuttle bus) to go. Food is home style and was nice but the quality is only OK. Room size and furniture is very pleasing. Dinning team was very helpful and friendly. Soft Drinks and coffee are free during breakfast and dinner
