How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was nothing that we didn't like!
We liked the shower and the bed was comfortable. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean. Iriny in particular assisted me with something personal as I needed to find a particular blanket made in Spain in Cairo. She gave me names of a couple places and BINGO! I found what I was after at the first place and I was greatly grateful for her kindness. Their breakfast was ok, light to start ur day with. Staff at reception were always ready to make your life so much easier!

Very comfortable stay with kind and helpful staff. The location is close to tourist attractions and feels safe for solo travellers. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was exceptionally clean.

A bed sheet only a duvet. Kettle provided but no tea or cup to use it.
Great air condition, balcony, comfortable bed and pillows. New bathroom. Very helpful staff. Value for money and safe.

Not a big issue but bathroom needs a little bit of improvement
Room is spacious, decent location with a good breakfast made every morning. Staff were helpful especially Ereny who was very friendly and caring and always had a positive smile.

Shower was not running water at first but the staff male everything possible to fix it! Which was great! They also need to offer breakfast earlier than 8am because the tours starts at 7:30am.

The rooms have been recently refurbished and feel brand new—spotlessly clean with modern bathrooms that exceed expectations. The staff is exceptionally friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently situated about 15 minutes from the main attractions in Cairo’s historic old town. There are ATM machines right across the street for added convenience. One of the highlights is the open-air restaurant and breakfast area—an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee or tea while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. A great place to stay at a very reasonable price!

I stayed for a few days and during that time nothing bad popped up.
This place is well located and reasonable priced, there are different tourism areas within walking distance. The guy Yusuf was can speak English and easy to communicate. He introduced us to a knowledgeable your guide

It is quite new so make sure you give taxi drivers the address so they can find you.
We enjoyed our stay so much we extended three nights into a week. Loved the big spacious room and handy location on a quiet street. They have only been operating for less than a year so everything is very fresh, new and clean. Breakfast is good.

It was really good choice and value for money. Staff were amazing, especially Rini and Jusef. Great location as well. Nice breakfast with the view. If I cam to Cairo again, will stay here.
