How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was a leak from the pipework to the sink. I reported this but it was not repaired. Also we did not like the glass door on the ensuite - the door did not close properly

Guests were super loud. Conversation at 4-5:30 am of an Italian family totally unnecessary. Food at restaurant really not great at the bar. Nice staff

No ability to cast to the TV; we had to watch via our tablets. Sometimes the room’s sound insulation was a little lacking, but still good overall.
Gluten free options and well-labelled allergens at breakfast. Helpful staff - especially the kitchen/dining staff. Warm! Very comfortable bed. Bathrooms extremely well-appointed.

The restaurant is not good at all the salmon seemed to be not fresh rather frozen, covered on majonaise, not morbid.

Excellent location for a night stop through the área ( south to north) Spain to France..Short Metro hop to centre of Barcelona for an evening out. Hotel 5 minutes from AP7 and Metro.

the pool seemed not clean but when I asked they immediately took care. There was a storm ao understandble

I am not sure if this is because of booking via Booking, but we got the rooms at the end with the view to trash. While at the booking it was the view to the swimming pool. And the hotel was not overbooked. Furthermore, we wanted to make check out the night before, but it was not possible but I have to say, that the receptionist had the bill ready at 4 AM when we have been leaving.
The hotel is very comfortable for staying in case of business trips for the companies surrounded by this hotel. Otherwise it is too far from Barcelona. The hotel is nice, modern and clean.

The location. It's just too far from the centre, with absolutely no shops anywhere close to even get a packet of snacks or fruit or anything for that matter.
It's a lovely hotel. The staff we friendly and helpful.

our room was left open and unlocked by cleaners and we weren’t advised the pool was shut during may and that was one of main reasons we booked this accommodation

The room was very cold and the heating system had a permanent noise while on. Something to consider is that the hotel is located in a town next to Barcelona, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the city center (Plaza Cataluña) in a very good train which station is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are no shops, supermarkets or stores near the hotel, the closest option is a mall about 10 minutes away in a cab.
The rooms have a good size, it was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was basic, too lean: few cherry tomatoes, no dressing no salads, no cream cheese. Only hard boiled eggs, no other option. We had to check out at 7am for the flight - but kitchen opened on Sunday @07:30, so no breakfast (or even a sandwich) for us. Located on a business area - no restaurants or any other store in the vicinity.

The beds were very soft - it's great if it is your preference though ;-) On the departure day we were leaving just before the breakfast (it was already prepared) we could not get anything for takeaway. Only after intervention of the shift manager we got some croissants and coffee.
Nice and quiet base for weekend sightseeing of Barcelona. The room was nicely big, so was the bed (too soft fot my touch however;-) ). Room and bathroom was very clean and well equipped. Efficent check in and check out. Lovely (and deep) pool just outside the restaurant.

Gym didn't have many machines and enough space. Location a bit far.
The breakfast was good. But it could be different from one day to another considering people who stays more than one night. I would add more fruits also. Location is a bit far from the center so it might be helpful to have a service to pick up from the airport.
