Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaNice and clean apartment, located in a building that offers a common kitchen on the ground floor and a terrace on the top floor. Very good communication with the owners/managers. There are supermarkets and places to eat in the area . 30 minutes, walking, you can find the main points of interest in Seville (the Cathedral, the palace...)

United KingdomNot much to say we didn't like. I would recommend putting on the air conditioning for a few minutes when arriving back after a day in the city as it can get humid, we didn't want to leave a window open due to mosquitos.
The location was great - down a quiet street, felt really safe and near some lovely bars and restaurants. It was far enough from the centre of town to feel more 'local' but was only a short walk to all the main attractions. I would highly recommend this area to stay in to explore more of the city if you're staying for more than a few days. The room itself was spacious for two people and had a small fridge, hair dryer, even an iron! The owners were very friendly over messages and came to help when we needed.

GermanyThe cleaning level could be higher. It could have a bigger fridge in the room to store you water. There is one shared in the basement, but it is not always very convenient. And somebody should collect the trash from the rooms, at least every second day. There are not bins on the street to throw them and ends up to collect them in the room
It is located near to the city center, and you can reach everywhere on foot. Within 30 min you can visit all the important sights. The room had enough space for two people. In any case, the owner is active and replies to messages immediately.

TaiwanThe room didn't have windows towards the street, only towards an inside garden.
Our room was on the second floor. Everything was very clean. We especially liked the bed which was very soft and comfortable, we had good sleep during our stay.

United KingdomI liked it all, so these are just points to consider. I went in february and the room was a little cold, which is probably to stay cool in the hot Spanish summers, and I didn't mind at all. There is a heater and it warmed the room up really quickly, so not a problem for me at all. Also, the way you enter the building and your room is a by putting in a code, and I always forget numbers so had to make sure my phone still had battery when coming home after a day or night out.
The location is great for nightlife and bars, in my opinion you're in the best part of seville for going out and drinking, or little cute cafes and really near a cute old monastery where you can buy cookies from the nuns! Honestly, such a good location to get around, walked to the cathedral and the palace. Brilliant. The room itself was so clean, and comfortable, and the kitchen was clean and always empty when I was there and the rooftop garden is gorgeous too. Plus they have free lockers where you can leave your bags after check out which was so helpful. The staff are kind and easy to contact and it always felt super secure.

Location was fantastic. Close to great restaurants, the river, historical sights. Coffee was nice as was the rooftop terrace. Nice hot shower. Earplugs required as would be expected in busy central area especially on game nights.

SlovakiaOur room was on the ground floor, next to the main entrance - as the people were comming in the night and they were noisy, it can weak you up if you are more sensitive to noise.
Our room was small with the private bathroom with the shower corner. The bed was comfortable. The accomodation has also a bigger common kitchen on the ground floor, but we didn'ţ use it (we ate a breakfast outside). There is also a nice terrace on the top floor. The location was great - everything is very close.

FranceThe bedsheet had some stains. We heard the people climbed the stairs.
Rosalie is a very nice host, she is quick to respond to messages. She booked us a taxi to go to the airport. Indications was great. We were able to leave our luggages in a locker after the checkout. Room is perfect for a short trip for 2 guests. The location is great too, with many bars and the market near to the appartment. Great Price/quality.

EgyptThe sounds from the street might be noisy at weekends. But for the comfort of the apartment this could pass by me
The apartment is great, very new and fresh with enough space. The host was so nice and she managed to check us in early. Also there is a locker if you want to leave your luggage after before check in. The check in process was so easy and nice. The apartment is in a very good location with shops and cafes around. I would definitely recommend it for any one.

SpainThe public transport in Sevilla is not great, so you are at least a 10-minute walk from the bus station that takes you into the more touristy city center, or a 30-40 minute walk from there. That being said, we walked everyday and have no regrets about it! On the way into the center there's plenty to do and see —including the famous Setas— which made our walk pleasant.
I loved my stay at Rosalie's place! This apartment far exceeded my expectations — it was clean, spacious, in a safe building and neighborhood, and had everything you could need for a short or longer stay in Sevilla. Rosalie was ever accommodating, and it was great knowing there was a real person who was there to help us. The area is also surrounded by small bars and cute brunch places just a couple blocks down in most directions, which was great for our mornings and evenings since it's a bit further from the true and touristic city center. I honestly was impressed by the cleanliness of the space and the ease of our stay. I highly recommend!

United KingdomThe location is less than 100 meters from Calle Feria (where there’s a Thursday morning flea market) and Almeda de Hercules so it’s an area with plenty of local people, great nightlife and only 25 minutes walk from the train station (where you can also get the airport bus.) it’s around 20 minutes from the zona monumental, which is heaving with tourists, so close but not too close. Inside there are at least four studios, and the facilities were more than sufficient. We had separate kitchen, wash, sitting and sleeping rooms . There are also left luggage lockers in the entrance hall. Communication with the owner was almost instant, including when we had a small problem with the key code. Excellent place where we’d happily book again…if it was available!
