The room is a bit small, not enough space for luggage and we have to leave our luggage in the living room.

Not really a dislike, but I usually like to explore the local towns/villages after long walking days, but on this occasion, I made the most of the peace and quiet.

This place is a little gem just a couple of kilometres before Oia right on the Caminho, and I would encourage pilgrims not to overlook it. I was upgraded to a beautiful bright private room with a view over the ocean, but I could see the other rooms with shared bathroom were very nice too. I enjoyed a home cooked meal complete with 🍷in the communal lounge/dining room, followed by a very comfortable night. Thanks to Jorge, who was an exceptional host.

a bit pricy for shared bathroom.in the middle of no where so no groceries shops or resturants . Also didnt like the fact that the shower had a window with a translucid curtain which felt like not alot of privace

Fantastic stay at the Oceanside! Lovely, modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Private walk to the ocean, beautiful garden seating. Great location right at the Camino road. Very helpful and friendly hosts and warm welcome!

The only issue was that my map program took us 2 km past and we were very confused about where it was located. Carmen was vey kind to come get us. So be aware that it’s actually very close to the Camino and before you get to Oia.

Carmen was a delight and very accommodating. The garden where we could sit outside to rest and eat was wonderful. With an exquisite view of the ocean. She made us a delicious pasta meal and we bought their homemade vino. There was it anywhere close by to eat.

Only one bathroom for several rooms, (one for at least 5 people), the location in the reservation was wrong and a friend missed it and ended up having to go backwards, the payment through booking was a mess, hours on the phone to fix it and ended up having to make a bank tranfer from the middle of nowere

As it is so new, some things like the plugs have not been reviewed yet. It is a bit far from the closest civilization if you don't have a car.

Super nice staff, renewed building, great views, very clean, nice decoration....so many good things to say :) The place has a lot of potential to become a dream holiday place to spend some in the nature in peace. The owners willingness to please the guests stands out positively.

We booked and paid for, via Booking, a room with private bathroom but ended up with a shared bathroom and no explanation. We assumed there wasn't a room with it's own bathroom.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Very hard pillow. There’s only one bathroom downstairs for the 3 rooms upstairs. I suggested to have some hooks to hang your own bath towel in your room as well as a mirror so you can finish getting ready in your room and not use the bathroom as others will be waiting to use it. A few things weren’t quite finish I understand is a recent project the door knob in my room fell out … so still some things that need fixing… it feels a bit thrown together … the hosts were lovely.

The location is in the middle of nowhere, but it’s on the Camino. Make sure you have your food and water there’s nothing around there to eat or buy. The hosts are lovely and you can have a good chat.

Lovely house, such a welcome break from staying in albergues while walking the Camino. The host was very nice even though we didn't speak Portuguese and she didn't speak English we communicated well. There is only a microwave and no stove top but she let us use her kitchen to cook our pasta, very accommodating.

Google maps shows it is in the middle of Oia, while the location on the map of booking.com is the right - it is in the middle of nowhere. So basic furniture in the garden that you wonder if it can carry you. A constant breeze and annoying flies when outdoor. There are no cooking facilities, so do your preparation beforehand. We payed 30 euros for homemade French fries, fried eggs, bread and a nice salad for 2. We stayed in the de luxe room with seaview. The seaview was only from standing by the window, and there was only one chair to put your clothes on in the very small room. No other place to sit. The pillow was hard and unformable. Noise from cars during the night from the nearby main road. Despite the kind people and beautiful view I would not return.

Beautiful view of the sea from the garden. The most stunning sunset I ever saw. Two sweet dogs and some loose hen in the garden. Very nice and helpful host, who cooked a basic dinner for us.

Beautiful views in a nice quiet spot. The host was lovely and cooked us a lovely dinner. The bedroom was very cosy. All in all it was a wonderful place to stop and rest before continue on the Camino.

3 km out of town. A new facility but would benefit from places to hang towels, or other things. The bathroom facility was on a lower floor. Website is not accurate. The address is incorrect. If It took 2 hours to find the right address. The owner kindly fetched us from the tourism office once the tourism lady called her.
