Location!!! The Camino is right out the door of the hotel! It was an easy, straightforward walk from train station. 100 steps away from hotel, there are really delicious restaurants.

Two negatives. Breakfast was buffet style and expensive if you only desire coffee, juice and tostada. Also the TP in the room were tiny single sheets in a dispenser instead of on a roll. Very ineffective and awkward. 😉

Location directly on the Camino route and the riverside. Close to old town and restaurants are all walkable. Comfortable and included a restaurant and bar with terrace plus a breakfast with many healthy options.

The room was loud. Right near the staircase and over the restaurant. Thin walls. There was also a green emergency light that glowed in the room.

After eating pilgrim meals for 30 days, it was nice to have choices. They offered room service, a cafeteria and a nice restaurant. All my meals were good and well appreciated.

Decor just a bit dated.

Overall spacious and clean room. Good internet. Convenient to Camino trail. Cafeteria was exceptional...served very good house wine with lunch. And breakfast was also one of the best of the Camino.

We were travelling as pilgrims and came to the hotel on foot along Camino de Santiago. The best location for pilgrims! Breakfast begins at 7 o'clock in the morning which is good for those on walk. The quality and quantity of food for breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was shockingly bad! Buffet with very little food, all the tables were dirty, no clean cups to have coffee, no clean spoons out for cereal, staff very young and way under staffed, our worst breakfast experience

Location was perfect for starting the camino from Sarria. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very plush with a terrific shower. We had the continental breakfast which stood to us for the walk ahead.

Staff was curt, the floor in the room had visible mud footprints all over it. I called for a maid to clean the room again. The furniture is so old an worn, the chrome has come off the bathroom fixtures a long time ago, there was no TV in the room and breakfast wasn’t served until 8 even though the printed information said 7, so that I had to ask for a refund. This is only the short list of the shortcomings, I could go on. This is NOT a 4-star property, not even close.

Good location in town right before the river. A 'fancy' hotel with attached restaurant. We didn't eat there.

I stayed for two nights. On the Saturday there was a dinner/dance in the hotel that lasted until 3am. I felt like I was in night club! I didn't get to sleep at all, so it was not restful, especially when you had to start walking at 8 am.

The staff are so friendly and the location is great! The breakfast was good value. Close to the camino trail.

Wished the lady in charge at restaurant would teach proper waiter etiquete, not at table side, embarrassing the new waiter in front of guests.
