There was a minor mix-up with the entry code that was quickly resolved. The room was on the top floor and there was no elevator - so for two elderly travelling with heavy cases it was a bit of a struggle.

This was an exceptionally interesting hotel in a fabulous old building. The room was spacious and tasteful. There was a nice common area for breakfast.

It’s nice that there’s dinner option, although, it’s just tapas 🥲 we did it once and it was delicious, but nothing like regular European dinner.

July and Julio are amazing people! Both are so helpful, welcoming and warming, they are making the whole stay perfect, even if the weather is not warming at all. The place itself is not worse, though! Cozy house with comfy & clean rooms, beautiful garden and delicious breakfast. Furthermore, Julio got the greatest wines in the area! Definitely worth trying :)

This small hotel is lovely. The hosts are extremely gracious and go out of their way to be helpful and informative. They gave us multiple recommendations for places to see and restaurants. Everything is extreme clean and they have an outdoor seating area that is also quite nice. Breakfast is available for an extra fee as are tapas in the evening. Can’t say enough about our hosts and their staff.

When I got to Casa de Costoia I felt really sick. The couple took really good care of me. They helped me feel incredibly welcome, made me a wonderful dinner and breakfast and helped me find my way to the hospital. They also played with my dog Flow and just gave me more than I wished for. The house is beautiful too, every detail is taken care of, the bed and towels are soft and fresh. I wish I could have stayed for a year! Thank you so much, I will definitely return ❤️

I would warmly recommend Casa de Costoia to those who want to travel to Santiago. It is an oasis of quiet and picturesque charm just 10 min driving away from Santiago where there is plenty of parking. Casa de Costoia is beautifully furnished, has an inviting garden, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and the hosts, Julia and Julio are among the most hospitable couples we've encountered during our many travels. Julio also cooks tasty, Galician dinners that you might not want to miss.

Incredibly friendly staff. The chef was a wonderfully cheerful and charming man who delivered some excellent food. The place was very quaint. I went with my partner, but I could imagine it would also be lovely to go with a family!

A little hard to find.

Jhuly and Julio were some the kindest people I’ve met! They went out of their way to take care of me and make me feel at home (they even made me an excellent meal to order as I was exhausted and famished when I arrived). The accommodations are beautiful, the nature is gorgeous and it’s peaceful and relaxing. It’s away from the busy town, but a quick drive to get to the city center. It’s a wonderful place to stay and explore beautiful Spain.

The location was a challenge to get to after finishing the camino at santiago de compostela. I took public transport and the schedule is infrequent. The hosts recommend to get a taxi.

Everything was great! I got the royal treatment

I felt very welcome by Julio and Jhuly from the moment I step into their beautiful place. I felt like at home. They personally cooked and served breakfast for me the next morning and dedicated time to have a conversation, answer all my questions about the area and gave very nice recommendations about what to do in Galicia. Looking forward to seeing my “new family” in Spain when I get back to walk the Camino de Santiago next year.
