How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

The rooms are so dark with not enough lights , it can be more cleaned but it was good One problem that no fridge in the rooms .. they have a 1 fridge for 3 or 4 room combined
The location wad perfect ,it's in the center of barcelona , close to la ramlas and diagonal street . For tourism who will spend most of the day in the town it's the perfect place to say .

The acoustic is not that great between the rooms.

The desk was a bit crowded because it was small and had the TV and a lamp on it, but it might have just been my (single) room. I also remember the shower head spraying everywhere due to quite a lot of limescale on it.
Perfect location for what I was after, as I was here for a concert at Luz de gas, which is just a block away. Room was a pleasant surprise, at least the one I stayed in looked like it was renovated relatively recently. The bed was soooo comfy!

Room was a bit small and there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom, only one between the toilet and the bathroom, also my windows were facing the inner courtyard, therefore the room was quite dark.
Comfortable beds, nice interior, great location.

No view - but not a real problem. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be good.
Great room - big wardrobe, heated towel rail, good bathroom. Location - quite far from the conference centre but good for sightseeing in Barcelona. Staff were excellent.

The curtains were pretty dusty, maybe to consider cleaning them more regular, it contributed to a bit of allergies too
A good location close to the bis stop, literaly around the corner. We found nice bars and restaurants, and a breakfast brunch place around the corner if you chose not to have the buffet in morning at hotel. Staff were pleasant and we had all we needed there.

The bathroom location. The sink was inside the room and a door to bathroom just glass (non translucent)

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, a thirty minute walk from La Sagrada Familia and a thirty minute walk from the centre. Also it is next to Garcia, in which there are many bars and places to eat.

The room was not as clean as you could've expected from a hotel like this. We saw some stains on the bed sheets, and hair in the bathroom :( Housekeepers are not changing the sheets, they're just tidying up your room. Overall, not bad though. Just little things.
I was hesitating to book cause I thought it was far away from the central. Turns out it's not! The hotel is located in a great, fancy area called Diagonal with just 2-3 min. walking to the bus station where you can go anywhere you want in the city very fast. Or just walk, if you're a tourist. It takes 15 to 20 min. to go to Sagrada Familia for example. The facilities in the hotel are very good. Rooms are big and comfortable. Also, huge balcony in the room, we could've loved it if we had stayed in the summer. A good and safe choice for the price range!

It would be nice to have coffee machine and kettle in the rooms.
We checked into this hotel last minute due to some issues and Ignacio went out of his way to help us. Thank you! I booked a triple room.Beds were comfortable, room was quiet and we had a nice large balcony to enjoy the weather.

Nothing to complain about.
The place is clean and easily accessible, for my perspective a great value. The rooms are basic, but you’ll find clean towels and hot water, we didn’t hear any noise from the streets.

I could hear street noise and noise from the hallway a lot. The WiFi sometimes cut out for a time
It was a good sized room, loved the bath and the sink outside the bathroom was a good idea. I liked the self service area with coffee, tea and hot water downstairs too
