There was no natural light in our room as the window looked on to the inside of the building, that is really the only fault that I have, however the room was cheap so can’t really complain

It was quite easy to hear other people in other rooms. The sink in the room is really small.

The room was very clean. There was amenities like free coffee in the morning as well as some baked goods like muffins. The shared showers were usually not busy and very clean.

Very central. Walking distance to most places/ metro. Close to lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Facilities - in particular the shared bathroom, was immaculate and fresh everytime

Beds (pillows really) could have been a little comfier, and a safe in the room would have been a good touch.

Staff were lovely, and the whole place was modern and clean. The veranda is a lovely place to sit during the day or night. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and everything was easy to use and find. The addition of breakfast items and free coffee and tea was a nice touch. The guest house is relatively small so it didn’t feel crowded or busy, never had to wait for the shower or bathroom! Overall a good value for money and a good location.

All positive things easily cover some cons. Just to let others know. 9Hardly accessible with full size stroller or wheelchair. Their rectangle lift is so tiny that barely fits 1 adult with umbrella steoller and its front door opens on the ground floor and side door opens on the hostel floor. We used stairs even walking with stroller. A little bit weird to have a shower right next to the bed in the bedroom and toilet room separate but for our 'girls only' accomodation it still worked. There was not enough outlets sinse everybody had their own gadjets requires charging each day. And 2 of them were right behind the bed and pillows which is not convenient to use while sleeping.

9/10 just because it's hostel not a hotel. It has perfect location, close to main must see places in the heart of Barcelona and no too far from metro. Simple contactless check in 24/7 after confirming with hostel (after late night flight). It located in a beauriful old building with history spirit seen in heavy wooden doors, marble stairs, high ceilings, stained glass windows, and huge common outsidw terrace with tables, benches and chairs. The nextdoor restaraunt is always busy which means it's popular with affordable prices. Perfect room for the hostel with private separate shower and bathroom, and 2 queen beds. Their coomon areas have couches and kitchinette equipped with refrigerator, microwave, kettle, kitchenware, and free coffee and tea.

Very nice. It was better than I expected. They have served a mini breakfast for us. Rooms are clean, it had air conditioner. Really enjoyed! Also all rooms were full, but it was really quiet and calm. Thank you!

I knew it could be loud because I read previous reviews, but there were big heavy doors slamming at like 3am, I’m not sure why but it happened both nights. They do have ear buds in reception which tells you a lot haha

For what it is, I think they try really hard to make it comfortable, they keep it clean, put out coffee and breakfast, and the woman on reception was really kind and helpful.

Technical issue happened with bathroom which was difficult, but hostel’s management and reception dealt with it with grace, which we appreciate.

Mini hostel in a great location, very clean, decent conveniences. Reception service is nice, however not available 24h (which we knew about).

I was in a single room which could be a bit noisy due to its proximity to the front door.

Great location and lots of cafes and places to grab food nearby. Reception were super helpful with anything I needed. I can imagine the terrace is lovely in warmer weather.
