The house is not really suitable for the colder months. We were there in March and on some nights it was very cold. There is no real heating, and the air conditioner does not really help to heat up the space. The sealing is quite high with the aircon up above the door, so all the warmth stays up in the air, not down where you are. It is an open room with the open shower and toilet. There is a door to the toilet but it is still quite an open arrangement, in case this is important for you. The warm water might run out if several people shower in the morning. But that only happened once. Most of these things are not really negative, but rather down to your personal preference.

The location of the house is amazing, surrounded by nature and very quiet. it is about 1h drive from Malaga and it is worth the drive. We loved that the house is on the hill and you can look in every direction. Our room had a balcony where we spent some evenings watching the sunset. During the summer months the pool area should be nice and there are plenty of space to sunbathe and to relax in the sun. The style of the room is simple, reflecting the nature of the location through natural materials and colours. It is simple and tasteful, but not chic. Some elements seem to still be in progress. But generally comfortable. The shower was great with really strong water pressure. The breakfast was good, healthy, with plenty of options to choose from. The dinner in the restaurant exceeded any expectations we might have had. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. The food was amazing with very modern menu. Good selection of wine and many other options. Quite a gem! Our hosts were lovely! Friendly, helpful and kind people. We would love to come again during the summer months.

The location was quiet and beautiful, the room was spacious and simple but incredibly comfortable and had all the features we needed with a lovely balcony with great views. The hosts were very friendly, gave us great recommendations and provided everything we needed. The included breakfast was delicious but the real highlight was the dinner in the restaurant, the food was amazing and so reasonably priced! There was also a pool and sun loungers which we didn’t get an opportunity to use but would have been a lovely place to relax.

Small details like a mini fridge in the room to keep personal food and beverages fresh and a cover for the sun in the terrace, it would have been just perfection.

Marc and Madelon are the perfect hosts, their place is what you need to disconnect, relax and enjoy silence and nature. The room was very well curated and the pool added to the very relaxing experience!

Our mistake ! We trusted our GPS instead of Marc's instructions ...

Amazing special place ! You feel immediately at home. It is a one of a kind experience. Madelon and Marc make you feel like friends. Everything is easy and so relaxing ! Beds are excellent. The room is big and so unique. Please follow exactly Marc's road directions and preferably arrive during the day... Marc had sent a video in case we arrive late. Little solar lamps lead us to our room. Lovely.

The property lacks a bit of TLC. The mattress is not the most comfy and the pillows were too soft for me, almost non existing, but this is a personal matter as we all have different tastes.

I love its location: very quiet, you only hear birds and frogs. Clean air, no industries, no noise, very laidback. Madelon & Marc are very welcoming and easygoing. The dinner on weekends is to lick your fingers. The breakfast is also very varied. Small suggestion: a few bread options would be nice?

There's nothing not to like

Perfect location for the start of our trip in Andalusia, on a little hill with only a couple of rooms, wonderfu owners, very flexible. The room was very sweet, nicely decorated, just the way we love it. From the pool (and actually from everywhere at the property) you have phantastic views. Breakfast was the way we like it - fruits, buns, good coffee. Will definitely come back

Genuinely couldn't pick anything, it was a brilliant stay.

A slice of heaven! Really beautiful accommodation, comfortable and relaxing. The setting is idyllic too, extremely quiet which made for a really peaceful stay. Marc and Madelon (and Domino the lovely dog!) were super hospitable, nothing was any hassle and they made sure we had the best stay possible. Not to mention Madelon's excellent cooking!! The breakfast was brilliant and we ate twice in the the restaurant too, the food was amazing! Absolutely would recommend to anyone who is looking for some rest and relaxation in the sun.

Renovated finca by a dutch couple. Lovely relaxing location. Pool with amazing views of the countryside, surrounded my nature. Rooms were very spacious and clean, with a nice sense of decoration. Breakfasts had all you needed and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays dinner is served and cooked in an amazing fashion. Loved every aspect of it. We went during a heatwave and their air-conditioning worked amazingly inside the room, although we spent most of the time at the pool! Pretty views. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. I strongly recommend.
