Instead of a room with one large bed, we got a room with two twin beds

Lovely atmospheric place, a great opportunity to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet. Incredibly beautiful and well-maintained area, nice place to relax by the pool (swimming at this time was still a bit cold for me). The breakfasts are also good, with quite a large choice. Nice restaurant on the territory, where you can try dishes made from local products. Would love to come again!

The Monastario itself needs more care. Areas were neglected and grounds were not kept up. Pool was old and worn out.

Fantastic stay in a former monastery, it was invaluable for a history enthusiast like me. The accomodation is a perfect base if you would like to visit both Sevilla and Córdoba. The breakfast was lovely with home made pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. I would recommend to have a dinner in the onsite restaurant as well, it is also an extraordinary culinary experience, the vegetables are grown in the monastery’s own kitchen garden.

Every thing was amazing, the interiors with Andalusian style, room was large .. the staff very friendly and helpful .. location was in the middle about one hour drive to Seville and Granada

Gardens could be a bit better maintained. But there had been storms so perhaps this is an excuse.

That it was only a one night stay

Tranquil and relaxing,fantastic pool,cloister is a place to relax and unwind with a glass of vey good Rioja. Air con worked a treat, staff were excellent. The monastery itself is the star, beautiful! We came upon this place by accident en rout to the coast, but would definitely make it a destination on its own. I havnt heard a dawn chorus like it for a long time. Thanks will visit again.

We liked every corner, it is just amazing history place. It was cool for children to go to the pool 🏊‍♂️ and it was exciting to listen for the bells 🔔 ringing. Amazing 🤩

Everything from start to finish was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the building is incredible, the pool was amazing and breakfast was fabulous. Wifi worked extremely well and our room was gorgeous. We could not fault anything and we will definitely return.

Overall, we liked everything about the hotel a lot, and we would come back. Nevertheless, we thought that the service (although professional) could be more friendly and welcoming. Especially in the restaurant (the dinner was excellent, btw.), the waiter staff seemed a tad too hurried and short.

We loved the calm, discrete ambiance of this place, its architecture, antique furnishing, the sprawling garden, and the pool.

Only minor: took a while before the shower was warm. construction of the window and blinds made that it was not possible to make the room dark and to have fresh air at the same time.

super beautiful building, very nicely constructed inside an old monastery. Room was spacious and nice, the bathroom as well. The breakfast was also very good and extensive. There was a nice swimming pool as well.

Only downside is that there is little day light. But that’s obviously unavoidable it being a monastery.

Amazing, very special accommodation. I arrived early by bike and could check in immediately. Friendly - English speaking - staff. The monastery is just beautiful!! Loved my stay.

The only thing that was not very good was the matrass in the bed: too hard for me. But it is not a big problem and probably serves to remind you that the monks did have a hard life.

The atmosphere in an old monastery. The spacious room. The swimming pool and gardens. The location is not very special or interesting, but Cordoba and Sevilla are at driving distance for day visits, and it is nice at the end of a long city visit to leave the city and enjoy the quietness of a monastery outside the city.

There was a church right next to it and the bells were ringing every half an hour or hour. My room was quite dark.

The great garden and the character of the property. Great cosmetics, comfy beds and good sized rooms. Restaurants close by.
