The hotel is in the best location! A stone’s throw from the Plaza and the market. The staff and Amparo are super friendly and the most important - it is super clean!!!

The streets around the hosteria can be a bit noisy at night, cause the students party during the night. The wifi was not great—enough to check email and social media.

We liked that the hosteria was in the city center, close to everything. The room was very nice and clean. The staff is amiable and helpful.

location is right downtown, a block away from the plaza mayor. this is mostly great, but it also means you’ll get some street noise, especially on weekend nights. i wouldn’t recommend this location if you’re planning to go to bed early… but why would you do that in Spain!?

I booked a room with bathtub and a certain size. I got a room with no bathtub and much smaller than the room I picked on the reservation, of which I even saw pictures in the "room" link in the reservation page. However, the guy at the lobby said "sorry, we have nothing more".

The owners and staff are lovely and respectful and always greet you with a smile. the communication over booking.com before had was helpful and the replies are quick. Really easy and super quick check in and check out. There is a restaurant at the bottom with tapas and drinks from 11am and rated well online. Right next to so many restaurants like Mexican, Italian and Indian right next door. In the morning there is a fresh market open at the end of the street and round the corner behind the hotel is a supermarket. It is about 2 minute walk to plaza mayor , 14 minute walk to the Roman bridge or a river swim. everything is in walking distance. I walked from salamanca train station to the hotel with a backpack and suitcase and it took me 25 minutes . The room was clean and nice unsuite, table and stalls, Wardrobe, draws, plenty of sockets to charge. A tv and AC. I had a little balcony and doors that opened . great shower pressure and bin and room clean every day .

The stairway to get to the rooms was very cramped and this entry space was shared by a restaurant. I came in with a fold up bike and it was tricky to manoeuvre. The staff for the hotel would leave kegs of beer in the stairwell which could be a hazard. The rooms were also quite small

Since it very centric you might hear noise from the streets during the night, but nothing that won't let you sleep. I am a light sleeper and I didn't have a problem.

An excellent value for money. Perfect location, right next to Plaza Mayor. The room was nice and cozy, and the bed comfortable. The staff was really nice as well, and you can enjoy in the restaurant typical food from Spain and Salamanca.

Everything else is not. Small rum down room that has been overdue for a renovation since before I was born. Stuffy air, view into some backyard shaft. Nobody answering emails and Booking messages. Basically, there is nothing about this place to like, so do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!

The beds were very uncomfortable, both days I wake up with pain in my back. The wifi was terrible. The room extremely dark all day. And "the view" is kind of a joke. Better not to mention on the description of the room.

Good location and very nice bathroom. The tube is a plus.
