The only issue was for us that the beds were too soft. This is a personal observation and for others they would be great and comfortable

The posada was really amazing traditional property. A fabulous family run business. Thank you for being so hospitable and allowing us to bring Charlie our feisty Yorkshire terrier .

Very rural and beautiful setting in the middle of nature. Nice, comfortable rooms. Very clean. The breakfast was very good. The host is very friendly and helpful!

The shower cabin is a little bit small but nothing that cannot be worked around, great shower pressure though :)

It is very beautiful and quiet location. No manure smell at the property although there is some on the way ;) The staff is very welcoming and helpful (they helped me make a reservation at a nearby restaurant).

This is an incredible top of a rural hill, sort like a hobbit retreat where Bilbo lives. Stunningly charming! Rooms are great, friendly dogs, burrows bellowing, roosters crowing, hens clucking, and relatively close to the Camino by car. A fabulous breakfast of eggs, scrambled and sunny side up, plus more. The proprietor has a great quirky sense of humor.

The house is beautiful, lovely location, short drive from beaches and beautiful and vibey towns. There are good views from the garden and there are three cute donkeys.

Warn people how remote it is and that you cannot get food we were starving and the breakfast was very sparse. They only speak Spanish even though they advertise speaking all languages.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We had driven for 10 hours and needed to eat but it’s so remote couldn’t find anywhere to eat and the breakfast is not goof

A beautiful location, 30 minutes away from Santander (car). The scenery is beautiful around La Posada. The house is really nice and the room was comfortable and nice for a couple. Breakfast (buffet served by the host - in Covid times) is good value for money (5€). The staff was nice and gave us tips and suggestions. Near by two nice restaurants - Bar Luis and Bar Terraza (this one really superior quality - must reserve). Both restaurants are less than 10 minutes drive in Near Guemes.

The position was nice but I personally found it far away from everything. I understand that the Covid situation changed our life but having a buffet breakfast with someone serving it was not probably very comfortable.

The structure was very clean and we appreciated that it was one of the few around offering us to take the dog with us (without asking for extra money) but the staff told us that leaving the dog alone was not allowed, so that we had to change our plans.

On arrival welcomed by the handyman who had very limited English so not an easy start but while rustic it was an enjoyable couple of nights stay.

Breakfast was good although served in a quirky way by the owner and lack of English was a slight problem but would not question the quality - coffee and food excellent. Location is rural and not close to many restaurants or services.

It’s location, I found it difficult to find, there are no facilities here, No restaurant or bar, it’s lovely but if you need a meal you will need to travel to another village

the room was cold, it felt like switching on the heating (in June), the shower had low pressure, we could hear the people staying in the rooms no privacy while having breakfast, the owner serves you everything and it’s right there while you are eating it I know the owner was trying to be nice to us but we felt very uncomfortable in the conversations and he felt very patronising to me, especially when he started to question our trip and the fact that we were only staying one night in Cantabria, as we were driving towards Asturias for Picos de Europa (which he said it’s not great and the best part is in Cantabria - his personal opinion) and Galicia instead. we were driving from Ireland and just wanted to relax for one night there, not to get questioned our choices. he also questioned our choice of going for dinner to Noja which in his opinion was a bad decision - too much in my opinion especially because I didn’t ask for recommendations no shops or restaurants nearby, the nearest town is a few km drive
