I got the “San Miquel “ unit on the ground floor it was on the street front and there was a lot street noise by pedestrians. The unit is also close to the front door of the complex so I also got the noise of people coming in and out to the other apartment.

Very central easy to access

Although there are windows in the photos of the property, we had none and it felt rather claustrophobic, as if we were in a cave. I don’t know why no-one else has mentioned how difficult it was to find. Despite using Google maps and getting to the location, it was not clear where exactly the apartments were as there were no signs with the name outside. Luckily (after the third circuit of the area) we saw the owner(?) outside and were told that we were actually there. We were not able to leave our suitcases and never found the lockers he directed us to. So we had to drag the cases around with us. The photo of the door will hopefully help future guests find the place. Also, if booking a taxi, cars cannot get to the area easily, so you would need to double check best pick up location.

The property was well equipped and walking distance from the sites. The area was very quiet and felt safe.

Dim light in the bathroom remains on, but given the medieval steps up to bathroom that's probably a sensible safety feature.

You can hear the people next door quite easily.

The location was superb, you are staying in the old stables of the cathedral, awesome experience. You are also in the heart of the old quarter, surrounded by dozens of amazing restaurants.

The room was fantastic and the hosts went out of their way for us. Loved the jars of treats and all the little extra touches. The apartment is right near the cathedral inside the old city. There was even a washing machine and a dryer. Really loved our stay and would be back in a heart beat.

The only very slight issue we had was it's a bit difficult to find. Some signage on or near the door would have helped.

It was in an old stables in the historic part of Girona - very atmospheric. There was no window, which felt strange at first but we soon got used to it. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The flats are very well appointed!

Everything was perfect

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Girona Catedral in the Narcis Apartment. What a beautiful little gem of a place. Check in was very easy, a key code for the outside door and a lock box with the apartment key once you were inside. There was some mention from previous reviews about the musty smell - to us it was an old building so we found nothing offensive about the slightly 'old' smell as you walked in, please do not let this put you off. The history, location and facilities in the apartment we had were superb. Amazing stonework, beautifully renovated into apartments. Narcis Apartment had two windows, plenty of space, a very comfortable bed with spare blankets and air conditioning . Lovely touches like the coffee, tea and cakes/biscuits which were left for us. Plenty of towels, lovely hot shower. A perfect location to be right in the history of the old town, you can hear the sound of the cathedral bells and are minutes away from the building itself. Close to a supermarket, plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. We had a very early flight home and walked to the bus station, the streets around the apartment have plenty of street lights and felt very safe. We would highly recommend you to stay here if you want to be in the history of it all, wonderful experience.
