The pillow in the room are pretty flat. Perhaps this is the normal standard in Europe which i get when staying in other hotels. Location unfortunately is not exactly ideal.

Breakfast surprisingly has quite a range. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room is pretty ok.

Unfortunately the roof top was not open and on the wrong side for use in the evening as sun is round the back of the building. No tea / coffee facilities in room. Only concern was the mention at breakfast to make sure you take your belongings with you when going up - this is very uncommon and was quite surprising.

Room was very nicely decorated and comfortable - good amenities in room i.e. mini bar, safe, shave kit etc. General cleanliness was good and the hotel internally is lovely - roof top very nice to have.

The changing rooms for the spa were cold and basic. No kettle in the room.

Gym is just a small room with a couple of treadmills, machine and some dumbells.

The place was good can't complain about that, my issue was that they took way too much advantage of the event that was taking place during my stay (MWC 2024) I understand that hotels increase their prices during major events but they took away basic amenities (only get water in your room on your first day and pay for the rest of your stay) no kettle and cups in the room those came at an extra charge, no iron but this one they issued at no extra charge upon request. I stayed here last year for the same event and recommended the place to all my colleagues most of them booked it and they were not happy with all these extra charges for basic services and not happy with me for recommending the place. I understand jacking up the prices as there is a major event but don't take away the basics that almost all hotels offer.

There was building work going on and was literally the other side of our room so had constant banging and drilling from around 8am in the morning till late on in the evening and when we asked reception if there’s anything they could do they weren’t very helpful and was just offered a drink from the bar 😕.

The hotel was of a very high standard.

As part of the privilege suite I had access to the spa at any time of the day free of charge however its not clear that you have to book in advance so I think they should make this more well known of give the privilege members easier access

I upgraded to the privilege junior suite which had some fantastic perks. Its in a quieter part of Barcelona with only a 20 min walk or 10 min taxi to the busier part but it does mean that it is easy to walk down to the beach. Also enjoyed the welcome bottle of cava :). I'll be back again.

The facilities were great, pool, gym, spa, polite and knowledgable staff. The bedroom and bathroom were a decent size, nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel is nicely situated to public transport, tourist bus stops, good places to eat and walking distance to several points of interest.

Was a bit of a noisy hotel and this was just with other rooms closing their doors. Would recommend they invest in some sort of soft door closing. Lady at the spa reception was a bit unfriendly. Seemed like her customers were a bit of an inconvenience for her.. Maybe just having a bad day (or two) when we were there

The food in the bar was not good quality and didn't match with the quality of the rest of the hotel at all.

When we made the booking in the description of the room it was listed that breakfast was included, while when we arrived they said it is not. In the booking.com app it was stated still but not in the web version. We tried to clarify it via customer support but we got big nothing! Not even apologize for their own mistake (still it is not clear who is responsible for the text about room description).

Located very close to the L4 Bogatell metro station so handy to travel into central. Lobby and bar/restaurant were gorgeous! Rooftop pool was an added bonus too.
