the restaurant is a walk down the road so the uphill return journey was abit too much after the kms done on the Camino.

it's in a quiet neighborhood. the host gives all the information as soon as you arrive. my room had a lovely balcony.

Doors need some sort of pads to stop the noise when people close them, so annoying hearing doors slamming all the time. Soundproofing needs working on.

Nice room with view onto the countryside, helpful owner when looking where to eat..

I would not particularly recommend this establishment. In the local area there are other better value for money establishments and the owners are more focussed on making money than the requirements and needs of their customers.

Didn't love the shared bathroom or lack of amenities.

Nice deck, quiet location. Albergue nearby served food but it was a bit of a walk down the highway. If you need a private room at this spot on the Camino, this place is fine.

There was a large group of pilgrims who arrived later that day. They went out for dinner, but only arrived back after 1.00 am up to 3.00 am and spoke in loud voices in the passage, disregarding other pilgrims who were tired and needed to be up early. It was our last evening before reaching Saint Jean de Compostela and it really put a negative feeling on everything. Many pilgrims walk in pain, emotionally and physically, and this kind of behavior should be discouraged by other pilgrims. The hostel should try to instruct groups especially. They clearly don't read notices.

It is a lovely clean, large and spacious with ample showers and toilets. There are lock-up cabins for valuables too. I liked the area outside too where one can eat or relax. The Hospitalera was amazing and very helpful.

No ventilation in room, terrace front room so you could not leave window open, very hot. Light from the road shone all night, had to have everything in the room closed to try to block the light. Terrace gets full afternoon sun

Clean room and bathroom. Cloths Washing could be done in trough for free.

The shower door leaked water in the bathroom, but that was fixed with a rolled-up towel. Belén’s husband has a collection of antique machinery around the yard that would be really cool to write up a bit about each thing and display it, for us nerdy types. Not really a negative!

This was a little bit off the Camino, but well worth the extra steps. Mrs. Belén is a very sweet host who keeps everything clean and smelling good. If you have stayed at other places that smell bad, you will appreciate that Belén works hard to make sure air fresheners are on, linens smell fresh, and even the provided soap scents the bathroom. She also provides a little plug-in mosquito repellent for guests, the first time I have ever had a host think about guests with this level of detail. Although there is no kitchen on-site, she has menus posted for nearby places, including one that delivers, and she will carefully explain how it all works. Here’s another example of how she thinks about her guests: instead of typing a wifi password, she has a QR code to just point and click. My room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom. The shower stall was huge! The facilities were a tad worn down, but since everybody is still sort of recovering from the pandemic, it makes sense that some investments will be coming a bit later. Belén is really into gardening and will happily show you all the varieties of fruit trees and veggies she is growing, and her flowers are so pretty! The above-ground pool was not in operation yet; I stayed in May 31st and it was still a couple weeks too early. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay in this tranquil place and would recommend it highly!

I wish the heat had been turned on, but I was the only person there, so I guess the owner didn't want the extra expense. Also a laundry service would have been nice, especially a dryer.

The room becomes moist with any showering as because of the lack of ventilation (not a single vent in the accommodation) so it gets uncomfortable fast.

The location is close to the Camino.

The pool should be removed from the description. If it's not open in July in 97 degrees heat, it's not "seasonally open"

Had a meal in the restaurant just across the road from the pension - expensive by peregrino standards but an excellent meal with very friendly staff. Just a few minutes walk away had a drink in a local bar with friendly staff and locals. The perfect end to a long day's walk.

No screens on windows, it was hot so we had to open them. Flies and mosquitoes got in. Got bit several times. Finally closed windows. Toilet broke about 2am. Ran out of toilet paper. Had to use the shared bathroom instead of our private one. Left staff a note. I did not want to call anyone because of the time. Glad that shared bathroom was nearby. But paid for private!

Staff was excellent, gave us lots of info about food. Room clean.

The house is located only 300m from the camino. It is easy to find. The staff is nice and helpful. She was patient to explain things to me and showed me around. There is a pool in the huge backyard. The room is comfortable and clean. There is a small sink inside the room (nice touch)! Cafe is five-minute walk away or you can have meal delivered. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay after a long day's walk, that's the prefect place for you!
