We couldn't understand the owner very well. Unfortunately she didn't seem very friendly but she did take us herself to the rooms.

The windows were open when we got to the room so we were greeted by about 15 flies. The blankets had cigarette burn holes in it. Shower was small but water was nice and hot.

The food was good prepared by the elder lady who was very nice. The younger lady was very rude and we didn’t appreciate she charged us 20 euros for the menu when the waitress told us it was 17 euros.

The place was clean and it was a good value for the price we paid. It met our needs since we were walking the Camino.

There was a very unpleasant stench in the bathroom attached to room 202. The pillows need replacing. I felt it was over priced.

The building was kind of old but the real disadvantage for us was the absence of an elevator. This was a problem for us only because we were doing El Camino de Santiago and we arrived there after enough km.

The Pension was what we were looking for, so we didn't expect something more. It was thoughtful there were extra blankets because it was a bit cold at night. It was a quiet place and we slept well. There is also a restaurant in the pension which we considered a advantage although we arrived too late to eat there. The ubication was ideal because you could reach everything essential by walking.

The owners should invest in renovating the rooms. It's definitely a 60s time warp experience.

Dispute average to low ratings on Booking.com, my expectations were not high. The room was clean, the place quiet. We slept well.

Rude staff. Lady at desk took my payment in cash, then 5 minutes later wanted to charge me again (she didn't remember I had already paid). So I asked her to give me a receipt and she refused. She finally remembered I had already paid. Because the only room available at time of booking had 3 beds, that's what I booked, even though we were just 2. She told me not to touch the extra bed.

Good price but bad experience while checking inn!!

Room was good for the price. we shared the room with 3 persons because we were all walking the Camino. But we felt not welcomed. I had to show them my booking confirmation 3 times and we had to leave no later then 8 in the morning, while the booking confirmation stated 11 in the morning. Also they first asked us to pay in cash. After a short protest it was possible in the end.

The shower room was dirty. There was a large hole in the ceiling and every time I flushed the loo, waste water etc gushed out across the floor. The owners had put a towel behind the loo to disguise this but it was soaking wet from previous flushes before I arrived. The women on reception was extraordinarily rude and treated me as a Camino pilgrim with complete disdain. She was both rude and unhelpful. I would not stay here unless you have no where else to stay.

It was very disruptive being above a bar. Noise went till after 2 pm with guests entering late as well.

No lift so had to carry bags up several flights of stairs, although the reception lady was kind and helped!

Central location in Arzua, good for the Camino and nice and quiet so easy to sleep. Good bathroom with decent shower pressure and the reception lady was helpful

Firstly we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room . The room was very old fashioned. The blankets on the bed were from the 80s . The bathroom had no fan to leave out the steam so the tiles on the floor and walls were still wet the morning after which could be very dangerous as it could lead to a person getting a fall . The shower head fell off its holder a few times . Outside the bedroom window is a polycarbonate/ plastic flat roof and the weather was very wet and you could hear the rain fall incessantly onto it which was very noisy. I would not give this property any stars it needs major reform .

Didn't get much help after checking in, remote for TV not working. I believed I was getting a hotel room when in actual fact we were pretty much frog marched a few hundred yards up the street to what I believe was a home. Description of the place was wrong in every aspect.
