How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room and bathroom were too small. Walls are too tiny, you can hear everything from other rooms. It's very smelly from the outside. They requested a deposit, but that is not mentioned when we booked a room.
The location is good. The room is good for 1 or 2 nights

The only issue is that I'm a light sleeper so the hotel should: A. Install a black-out blind to block the streetlights, which are just outside the window. These things are very cheap and you can buy them from any DIY store. B. I had to unplug the fridge because it was quite noisy. In the morning I plugged it in again.
Location. Cute restaurant with a good breakfast included. The room was a studio so it had a kitchen. A stone's throw from the beach.

Nobody told me I need to put a sign to get my room cleaned, so I was negatively surprised it was not cleaned. A blanket needed, as AC is strong enough.
Very small room, but pretty comfortable.

A little noisy late at night and early morning as the room was on a road which is a route into the centre. No other issues.
Great location, two minute walk into the busy centre. Hotel clean and tidy, staff excellent, friendly and very helpful with all our needs, . Booked us a taxi to return to the airport. Well worth a stay for a 3 night break.

The door lock is electronic and the sound it makes when you type in the pin is too loud. A lot of noisy neighbors, if you're a light sleeper it is hard to fall asleep. Very small everything, room/bathroom.
The rooms are quite close to the beach, which is very convenient. Comfortable bed. Good value for the paid price.

The only downside I encountered was the paper thin walls, and the inclination of the other people staying there to be mostly young, partying types. But it was fine. I slept fine.
Great staff, easy check in and check out, clean rooms, decent shower and bathroom, comfy single bed. For the price, well worth it.

Small rooms. Bad smell coming from the bathroom. Noisy, you can hear your neighbor open and close the doors all the time.

Obviously no breakfast facilities but plenty of local cafes and bars..Fine for a few days but wouldn’t spend a week . Walls way too thin !! Add in a kettle and tea coffee etc would help .
Accessible and clean looked like it had been recently freshened up.

The room and bathroom is a little small.

We needed to pay a deposit when we have checked in, which was returned on check out.

TV - I love Spanish TV still showing old British TV series & love watching them when I’m back in the accommodation. However, although the room had lovely new smart TV in it, it just didn’t allow me to reset the language to the original language but fixed with Spanish. Shower - although the doors were cleverly made, the shower cubicle was way too small to be able to wash head to toe. Additionally, there were some stench coming out of the shower during my whole stay. Pillows - there’s only 1 very soft pillow comes with the room & it wasn’t very comfortable. No lift - I was lucky that my room was on the 1st floor, but without lift & going up & down with luggage isn’t very ideal.
Staffs - everyone was welcoming and did their best to help whenever the help was needed. Deco - nice, neat and modern. Bed was quite comfortable. Cleanliness - the room was very clean and felt everything was fairly new. Mini fridge with some drinks & nibbles - although it came with extra charge, it was nice to have especially when you travelled long to get there. Location - it’s not too close or not too far from the central area, it was just right.

Tiny, modern, cozy, super clean fragranced room with comfortable bed in the heart of Lloret de Mar. Few minutes by walk to the beach. Very friendly, helpful and nice staff. Definitely recommend for couple nights for young people. In high season is perfecto for this price. It looks that they getting better with another next review.

The walls were very thin and could hear the breath of the other person! Also parking is provided but it’s really expensive, which was very irrelevant!

The sewage smell from the bathroom was incredibly strong and disgusting. It didn’t seem like they did anything to try to combat it (better ventilation, scented air fresheners, etc).
It was comfortable and pretty clean.
