Someone before us had left used underclothes in the cupboard under the basin and, in spite of us telling the receptionist they were not cleared away so we didn’t use the cupboard and suspected the quality of the cleaning.

The location was excellent though Xativa is small enough to get around easily. The room was very good size and there was a good bathroom too. Staff were in the main friendly or else were business like.

The breakfast was very simple either croissant with jam or baguette with ham plus orange juice and coffee but it was very nice and fresh and served by very friendly staff. The room was very good and having a balcony was an extra bonus so we could sit out in the early evening.

Only disappointment was no hair drier in the room

As we have stayed there before, we were aware it was a pleasant and friendly hotel. Location was perfect and only a short walk to the town centre. We will be staying there again in the future.

The minibar fridge did not work. It wasn’t even wired in. The parking was good BUT too expensive at 15€ per night. I had secure parking in Gandía at 7€ per night which I thought was very reasonable. Also for non Spanish speakers the TV needs updating so that you can change the signal source so that you can watch your computer on the TV.

Excellent location, relatively quiet area -at a short walk's distance from the lively town centre. Attentive reception staff. simple breakfast but good. WiFi worked well. Private parking (extra pay)

Nothing much to complain about. The painters and decorators had started before I left in the morning, but that's bound to be a temporary issue.

The hotel is currently being refurbished to a pretty good standard. I had a room where nearly everything appeared to be pretty new. It had a small but attractive patio-balcony overlooking the street. The hotel has locked, covered parking (good idea when touring by motorcycle and staying in populated areas). The town is full of life and there are some pedestrianised streets full of good restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay there.

THE ONLY DOWNSIDES WERE THE SMALL PAID GARAGE AND THE BREAKFAST. IT WAS NOT LIKE THE USUAL BUFFET STYLE AND WE HAD TO ORDER FOR 4 PEOPLE EVERY MORNING. THERE WAS NO MENU SO WE WERE NOT SURE HOW MUCH THE EXTRA COSTS WOULD BE.

THE STAFF HAS BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE. OUR ROOM WAS LARGE AND COMFORTABLE. THE LOCATION WAS CENTRAL AND EASY ACCESS TO EVERYTHING IN THE TOWN.

Difficult to access and park immediately outside the hotel but flashing emergency lights and immediate help from staff at the hotel alleviated this

A small hotel but exceeded my expectations. The receptionist was exceptionally kind in helping me park my car. He also updated my room to a large room on the ground floor at no extra expense when he realised I have to walk with a stick and there was no lift. Very reasonably priced meal in the restaurant. All together very good value for money.

Man on reception was very helpful and friendly, spoke excellent English. We were given a room upgrade which was a lovely room. Breakfasts were good value at 5€. We parked the car in the hotel car park, we thought the charge at 15€ per day a little high
