The rooms are a little dark and the shower screen didn’t work very well when getting out of the bath. The bedroom was a little small to cater for all the furnishings.

Location was perfect for walking to all the popular sights. The hotel was efficiently run and the rooms very clean. We asked for a bath and a coffee maker if available, and received both in our given room.

Another electric outlet by the bed would be nice. The hotel is a labyrinth.

Modern looking room with a nice TV, good bathroom, well equipped, and the right amount of light. No noise from other rooms/corridors/outside. Comfortable bed. All the necessary amenities. Excellent water pressure.

A bit strange to have a coffee machine in one room of our party and a kettle in another. Sound proofing could have been a bit better.

Breakfast plates could have been warmed and the hot breakfast could have been hotter.

Location is excellent, right in the middle of the west side and the east side. Rooms were really good and beds extremely comfy. Staff friendly and always happy to help, great bars and restauarants within walking difference.

The table next to the faucet in the bathroom has always been wet with water because the faucet is very close to the sink, but I think this is a question for the builders of the hotel and I think you can change these sinks!

Very nice hotel and it was close to center ,museum Prado and to the tourist buses(7min walk).The breakfast is amazing and plenty of different tasty food,Fruits and vegetables, cost 15€ for a person. The coffee is different and delicious! The rooms were heated and the hotel provided slippers because the floor was cold. The rooms also have bathrobes. We were also provided with a separate bed for our daughter 5y.o. We were at the beginning of January when there was a holiday of Kings and the hotel prepared gift for our small daughter, it was very pleasant and amazing to see this bag with a present at the door in the morning.

Very eclectic and very tastefully decorated. Exuded a welcoming and relaxing ambiance. Staff were phenomenal too! So helpful and friendly - breakfast was superb too. Our room was super luxurious! Excellent value for such a beautiful hotel right bang in the middle of everything!

not enough coffee in rooms (decaf and reg) although each day our maid service responded to our request for more, dark hallways a bit dreary, black tile in bathroom makes small items difficult to see/find in the bathroom. Didn't like the glass door in the bathroom because it was heavy and difficult to fully open.

Location, room size, bathroom size with countertop room, breakfast, staff very cordial and helpful, price vs room was an excellent bargain. Christmas decorations were nice, lemon water was available thru a dispenser in the lobby.

Only that the huge glass screen on the bath makes running a bath a bit tricky and there’s not quite enough room for getting in and out of the bath properly and I’m tiny! Also the bath gel etc containers on the wall are a bit hard to access if you’re in the bath so they need to provide hard soap too! Minor things though in a totally fantastic hotel experience!

The photos here do not do the hotel justice. It’s absolutely stunning in every respect. I loved the decor! I loved how comfortable it is. The staff are PHENOMENAL - just SO kind and wonderful! Really I loved everything about this superb hotel!

Tiny details. In bathroom, shower screen gave a puddle on the floor, tissue holder fell apart. In room, tea-making facility with jug would be nice, although questionable since the city water is chlorinated. A clear list of minibar prices on the door of the chiller would have been nice. Room door tended to slam loudly.

Fine selection for the breakfast buffet, quiet rooms, very central with easy walking through the city center, ca. 400m to metro station, many restaurants and tapas bars, a Chinese takeaway next to the metro station was helpful for a small evening meal in the room, the city center was really exciting and alive in the days after Christmas.

The breakfast was perfect and location was excellent. Very close to Santa Ana plaza with lots of bars and restaurants so although in a large city had a very small town feel with the excellent choice locally. Also room was very quiet with no city noise. Close to the Atocha train station and also close to sight seeing bus stop.

I had to check final price calculation before check out. Stuff wanted to charge me twice for the same service. Probably local mistake or computer system is not so easy to understand.

Second experience with this hotel. I like how it’s organized: calm and comfortable. I would choose this place next time as well. Sometimes there is a price breakdown at booking.
