The common area has no windows, so not really that much comfortable to hang in. I missed a table or a chair in my room - that would be nice!

The hostel is clean and nice, in a great location. The room way nice and clean. Fantastic organization in the kitchen - with 9 rooms I think the baskets are great.

Notice there can be noise from the streets coming in. So bring earplugs. My windows couldn't close properly which was a problem. I let the owners know and they fixed it pretty fast the same day.

Location, right in the heart of Tórshavn and next to the info center and bus stops. All the basic need are present at the hostel; for cooking, the closets and fridge. The bathrooms and toilets were clean.

Check in at 3pm when I arrived on the ferry from iceland at 3am. I should have booked that xtra night. It was a very long wait.

I loved everything about this place. In the centre of this gorgeous town so walking to everything was easy for this older person. The room was nice and big..the kitchen had everything. I recommend this guesthouse and would be very happy to return.

Instructions upon arrival out of date, there's no key safe outside front door it's just a key pad and very temperamental to use especially in middle of night when just arrived!

It was a lot of little things that I found frustrating, not necessarily that they were bad. There was no main light in my room, only two bedside lamps, which made it hard to do things in the evening. There was no garbage can in my room to throw things out in. There weren't hooks in all the bathrooms to hang up your towels. The sheets didn't seem or look all that clean. I found a lot of hairs on mine. Finally, it was extremely loud. I could hear every little noise outside, even if the windows were closed. And the walls between the rooms were very thin, too. There were also a lot of forms and logistics to fill out. If you're staying for a few nights, it's fine. But for a night or two, it seemed like a lot to deal with.

The location was great, right in the middle of the center of Torshavn. That was the biggest perk. Everything was within walking distance and very easy to get to. The layout of the guesthouse was a bit odd. There were more rooms on the second floor but only one bathroom there, as well as the kitchen. Most of the bathrooms and showers were downstairs on the first floor. I did like that each room had its own labeled basket in the fridge and the cupboard. Made it easy to find your things. Also, when you filled out the forms to check in, they provided links and recommendations for places to eat and things to do, which was nice and helpful.

Room could have been a bit cleaner when I arrived: the bedding and towels were all fresh, but the surfaces were not spotless. It was fine.

After some of the earlier reviews, I was really pleased with my stay here. The kitchen had enough (and equal) space for everyone, with fridge, kettle, drip coffee machine, and small hob cooker. Washing up liquid, sponges, as well as products for showering were provided. Everything was cleaned and replaced every day. The cleaning staff were great and really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to people each day in the common areas. Other guests were all quiet and respectful.

The place is quite easy to reach and in the city center, the structure is clean and well organized. Not the coziest stay in the capital, but sure is comfortable and I’d totally recommend it!

It would be a good idea to put a chair with a bistro table inside the room to seat or put things on it.

The guesthouse location is pretty central, the tourist office located only 20 meters away, as well as restaurants, supermarket, ATM and public transport.

A lot of issues. Room was not very clean, hairs in bed and a strong smell of rancid oil? Biggest issue was loud music and party and construction noises from the bar under the hotel which is currently being renovated. For some reason the workers decide to do loud sawing and grinding at 2 am on a weekend or hear loud music late at night on a weekday. The property was very helpful and came down several times to tell them to be quiet which unfortunately didn’t work. There was no other room available so had to endure this. Property refunded part of the booking as compensation. Kitchen was well equipped and clean and so were the bathrooms. Door is a bit fiddly with the code but figured it out eventually. Very pricey for what you get and given all the issues but that’s due to a lack of alternatives. Central location, parking about complicated as the spots in front are limited time but there is a bigger lot close by for longer parking but no unlimited parking.

The door code did not work on arrival, the door was somehow blocked and I had to wake up other guests to get in since there are no hosts on property or easily accessible. My room had very poor artificial light, just a tiny lamp, that I had to demount in order to make it work. The common kitchen is small, has no proper ventilation and lacks many main utensils for every day use. The toilets were not always clean, when a place is not properly followed up guests don't use it properly either. The system of prebooking is very annoying, you receive many insisting messages with instructions lacking links to follow way ahead of your stay. It feels like they care more about the numbers than about the people. You just feel like another sheep in the Faroes....

The guest house is very centrally located, walking distance of main attractions in the center. My room had good natural light, good storage room and a very comfortable bed. The premises were in general quite new. It seems like it was recently renovated. The showers and toilets were clean and provided with toiletries although, unless you carried your own towell, nothing to dry your hands with.
