There is nothing to dislike!

Warm welcome, outstanding entrance and stylish property, beautiful grounds, a spacious and airy bedroom, delicious breakfast with local products and amazing wine! My partner and I have been travelling the Loire valley for quite a while now and our starting at Chateau de la Giraudière was probably one of the best experiences we ever had. The biggest thank you goes to Claudine ( the host ) for making our staying unforgettable!

There was nothing to dislike. it was flawless

Go to Chateaux de la Giraudiere if you want to travel back in time to the romantic era of country French living. The beauty of the grounds, well aged trees in deep woods with occasional deer crossings,spectacular light and colors that the impressionist painters captured are seen all here. The old 600 year old farmhouse and wooden wine press, along with sheep in the pasture and chickens in their coop. The best part was our hostess, Claudine who reminded us of an elegant Contessa. She was very kind and resourceful with travel information and reservations. Her breakfasts were delicious with gourmet cheeses, home made jams and fresh baked morning breads. Our only regret was leaving this Chateaux. We stayed 3 nights which was enough time to visit Chateaux Chaumont and Orleans. Book early and don't miss this experience off the beaten path.

That we couldn’t stay longer.

Beautiful and remote part of the Loire Valley and a great spot to explore surrounding towns and chateaux. The breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious, with our final breakfast being set up outside in the sun as per the host’s suggestion, and the evening dinner was exceptional. Claudine the host is absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. You can see the love she has for the property and it comes out in her generous hospitality. She also had very useful recommendations for us for local towns and chateaux to visit. The rooms are beautiful and the bed comfortable. Couldn’t recommend more!

Can’t think of a thing.

The hostess of the chateau was helpful beyond measure. She went above and beyond to help solve our issue. The chateau is beautiful, the history of Madame and the chateau very historic and interesting. The chateau is impeccably maintained and very clean. It is gorgeous, beautifully furnished but comfortable and welcoming. Memorable!

The parquet on the higher floor was squeaky and it was hard to be quiet and not disturb other guests.

The host was very welcoming and exciting to chat with. We had the most delicious breakfast during our trip to France, mostly of local products and high-quality service. The place is calm and has its genuine vintage character. The pool was so refreshing on a hot day.

It’s an ancient family home set in woodland and repurposed very well for bed and breakfast. Top class accommodation with pool. Our large suite for 3 had a huge double bed in a separate room . Huge shutterable and openable windows. Fans available. A good sleep therefore possible during hot summer nights. Breakfast excellent. Omelettes on demand. Pool modern and clean. Secure gated parking. Friendly, if a little smelly Basset Hound called Opus. Good access to Loire Chateaux.

Had a great stay. Peaceful and well cared for family home. Our host was very friendly and gracious. Loads of history here in this 1792 Château. New pool with auto retractable cover was very refreshing and loungers with umbrellas made the afternoon perfect. Breakfast was made with care and served on high quality China with equally high quality cutlery. Of the eight Chateau's we stayed at this was ranked #3 only because it was a bit more money than the others, but in turn you certainly get more for that extra money too. Definitely worth the visit!

The appartement is a nice choice if traveling with family - attention to the noisy floor :)

Great Chateau if you want to visit Chambord and the Loire Valley. We had a nice stay and we enjoyed a good breakfast (with local products & cheese!). The owner is such a nice lady, we had small talks and she recommended us some places in order to do wine tastings.
