Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This hotel is located in a very quiet, non-touristic area in Paris, which we love! Nice rooms that are well equipped. Most of all, very quiet!

TV was a little smaller than expected / usual these days, when large screens are relatively ubiquitous. Water pressure / volume in the shower was low, so it would have been difficult / time consuming to wash and properly rinse long hair. The bathroom basin appeared to have a faint cigarette burn in one corner. Overall, a number of pretty minor issues, which didn't detract from our enjoyment of the hotel or our stay
Staff were very friendly and professional, easy to communicate with and flexible to accommodate requests where possible. Room size was satisfactory, aircon was good to have on a very warm day. We had to leave early, so didn't get to enjoy the included buffet breakfast, which looked pretty good on our arrival there previous day

Paying upfront for the stay.
Nice and clean room, with bed linen arranged everyday and clean towels changed on a daily basis. Good water pressure (and no drain smells). Able to leave luggage at reception while room was prepared and once we checked out.

The hotel is in a good neighborhood, quiet and everything you need is nearby. Metro is really close. The hotel is clean and very good, rooms have enough space. Staff is really good.

There was not good soundproofing and I'm not a fan of carpet floors

Nice quiet location in the cener of the city. Cossy atmosphere, clean rooms and bathrooms. My comunication with the staff was not very sucessful before I came, so the hotel exceded my expectations.

Communication about the pre-authorisation would be nice. But it worked out alright. The walls were thin but we had good and not so noisy neighbours. It had a good heater but was hard to regulate. Maybe a smart thermostat could create a more stable and comfortable room temperature. (Also saves a lot on the energy bill)
It was not located at a busy road. Quite calm. The breakfast is of good quality for the price. The room is a bit old but clean. There were no spots, molt or bad smell. The city center is fairly reachable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Clear communication. Reachable by phone also. 24/7 staff at the entrance.

Clean, comfortable, warm and cosy, staff were very helpful. Turned up last minute with my toddler and it wasn’t an issue. They even got us a cot for the next night. They provided warm milk for her too upon request a few times for no extra charge

Staff weren't that pleasant or delightful nor smiling. They asked me why I want an extra bed cover as it was cold...location isn't near enough to the subway
It was clean and the room was comfy enough..they helped us in storing the luggage.

I didn't dislike anything, really. but if i really have to find something then: the lack of a proper room for clients to change when they cannot use their room yet/anymore. Need to mention that the hotel has a toilet for that purpose but it is quite small.
The staff was excellent and the hotel provided good value for money. It was exactly matching what could be seen online, and the breakfast was very good. Yet, it was surprisingly cuter than I would have expected.
