Nothing to dislike

Our favourite hotel in Bayeux. Wonderful location with private car park. Lovely 18th century hotel. Our second time here and we will return. Breakfast good value and variety. Rooms comfortable, spacious and clean. bathroom new. Recommended.

It exceeded our expectations.

We were so shocked to walk into this beautiful hotel. I booked a room for my family of 4. It turned out to be 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Decor was beautiful, the hotel was beautiful. We felt special being to stay k. Such a beautiful place while in Bayeux.

The room was on the second floor so we had to manage quite a few steps. May not be suitable for other guests. Also, be aware that if you're staying more than one night, the cleaning staff will come into your room even though you may not want/need anything (there is no "Do Not Disturb") sign to hang on the door. In our case, the staff left our window open and when we returned to the room in the evening, it was quite cold. With the old school radiators as the heat source, it took awhile for the room to warm up.

The location is terrific and the property has ample parking in the back of the building (partially covered). Eva, who welcomed us at the reception, was super nice, friendly and efficient. The room was clean as was the bathroom. All the amenities that we needed were there. The continental breakfast, for a nominal fee, was outstanding. Several cheeses, 3 kinds of meat, vegetables, baguette, coffee, juice, croissants, pain au chocolat and many other items were available for guests' enjoyment. The breakfast was served in a beautiful setting overlooking the back yard. We also made friends with their dog Gloria (very friendly and quiet). The face to face staff were terrific and the location was perfect. Highly recommend for the value.

Excellent location to discover Bayeux. Free parking on site. The hotel and bedrooms are spotlessly clean. A good selection of foods (hot and cold) for breakfast. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Although there is no bar in the hotel, in the evenings drinks are available and can be ordered via the Reception. The resident dog Gloria is very cute. There is a lovely outdoor seating area which unfortunately we couldn't make use of as it was too cold but I am sure it will be lovely to sit out in, in the warmer weather. It was very foggy during our stay.

Exactly like the picture! The bathroom is brand new, super nice! The staff were always welcoming, helpful and very polite. Parking at the hotel was perfect for our car!

We would have e liked to stay longer and maybe have a curtain or door to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom

The place felt like a 5 star hotel, with a beautiful appointed room and breakfast in a chandelier room. Location was excellent t, you exit the hotel and there were shops right there
