The staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is a lovely old mansion, with a very nice breakfast room. The location is quite convenient walking to the cathedral, the tapestry and most restaurants and stores in Bayeux. Free parking is available. I would definitely stay there again.

I felt bad that the housekeeping staff would not take the small gratuity I left each day (I am used to leaving a little money each day for their hard work). I received a very nice email after I was home saying I had left money in the room! I told them to please give it to housekeeping!

Very enjoyable stay! Was in a separate building in the back that was very quiet. Superb location for local shopping (and there are very nice stores nearby). Housekeeping was excellent. Bed was nice, but mattress a bit hard for my tastes. If you have large luggage, you may want to leave it on ground level when you check in (rather lug it up the stairs) in case you are not staying in the main building.

Was slightly dated but that was what made it charming.

The hotel was really cool. It was an old home (estate) that was transformed into a hotel. Right on the main drag. You can walk to everything. Free parking in the back. Breakfast was great as well! So many pastries and jams to choose from. Staff was really accommodating. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location for a visit to Bayeux…. Very well appointed rooms, lovely staff members and an excellent breakfast made this a perfect stop along our way through Normandy.

Charming building and location. Staff made dinner reservation for us at charming and excellent Norman restaurants near the hotel. My ONLY complaint is the Duvet is to heavy for the weather and was the only blanket in the room.

Not applicable. Room was tiny but still just right for my travel style. Building is from 1734 and beautiful. Breakfast was a good mix of French and American styles. All good.

The bathroom was very average with a broken fan. The breakfast was dreadful - stale croissants and not a lot of choice for the €15 per person. The breakfast room is lovely though.

This is a gorgeous property right in the heart of Bayeux. Our room was in an additional building next to the main house and the room was quite nice with a comfortable bed. We could eat a picnic lunch out in the garden and order a glass of wine each night in the main part of the hotel. There is parking onsite.

As someone with an allergy to mold and mildew, our bathroom could have been cleaner. I understand how hard it is to keep mold and mildew at bay in such a damp climate, but that did make me a bit uncomfortable. Also, if you have difficultly hauling your luggage up several flights of stairs, this is not the hotel for you. Or ask for a room on a lower level, which is what I will do if we come back to Normandy.

Very well situated in Bayeux and an easy walk to many of the museums and other historic sights. Also near some very good restaurants. The hotel is nicely decorated and you really feel like you are in France!! The staff is very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good, with good portions and selections. And the rooms you eat in are charmingly decorated.

Excellent location. Free parking a fantastic bonus. Charming history. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was expensive but in line with other hotels' prices for breakfast. Room small but also in line with French hotels, especially those with such a long history.
