Facilities were lacking. When I walked into the room, I felt the floor “give” - apparently some sort of rotting beneath the surface. The curtains were a flimsy lace material, which did nothing to block the glare of a bright street light that shown in the window all night long. Even worse, there were cleanliness issues.

The hotel was a little tired in need of paint, new shower room etc. Everything worked well and was perfectly adequate for our overnight visit.

Excellent full continental breakfast in a very pleasant room, very helpful person found a phone charger converter for us. They said they didn’t have a room with twin beds but when we arrived they gave us a room with two double beds - what a lovely surprise They looked after our suitcases whilst we spent the day touring the town.

The room was quite old looking but once again good value for money. You get what you pay for in this hotel.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The room wasn't the most luxurious room I have been to but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is in a perfect situation if you are taking the train and also for the square with nice restaurants and bars. The room was good value for money and I would use it again for an overnight stay if catching the train the next day.

Our room (30) was pleasant, nice shower and bathroom but the toilet had a very strong smell of damp which spoilt the overall experience. There is obviously a serious damp issue as it was the same in the toilet on the first floor.

The hotel is in a great location near the train station and the town square, very quiet, clean and very comfortable bed. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful.

I liked everything about this hotel. If any, there is a little bit of walk from the hotel to the Castle (abt 2-25 minutes), but, that is not a big problem as there are many things to see on the way, in fact, I ended up shopping unexpectedly while commuting to the castle compound across the river!

I loved this hotel! The madame at the reception was super friendly and helpful (she waited for me until late evening after I already checked out, to pick up my luggage before departure by train), the white room was quite spacious and beautiful with regional elegant charm (this is the famous town of UNESCO World Heritage listed medieval castle), It is very close to the central train station, just 5 minutes walk. I wish I could have stayed for more days.

No one at reception when I came late, but the instructions were very clear to get in and things went very smooth.

First the receptionist was most kind and helpful. Next, the breakfast was just what I expected. Very close to train station and very quiet room too with toilets. Ideal for a single or a couple for short stay.

All these types of hotel in France are similar. Kettle in the room but not milk! The glass panel in the shower door was missing, not a problem for me but could be for others

A suggestion that they get rid of the fake grass on the balcony. Would be nicer with tiles and wouldn't be as wet.

Well located hotel near the station. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. We had a big room with a very large balcony, though the weather prevented us from spending a lot of time there. Easy walk into town and the city fortress.

As I'm an OAP I found the shower a bit unsafe, but that's just me ,I didn't like the step up to get into it. I didn't like the power points, no plug points at bedside and the extensions I felt were overloaded,other than that everything else was great, very helpful and friendly staff .

Very close to Train Station and the centre of town, less than 10 min either way 😀

Nothing, a basic hotel so no tea making or safe in room, but that is what we paid for and it was really good. Helpful friendly staff.

Our room was large and comfortable. A basic room but clean with an excellent shower. Location was great as we travelled by train and we were just a short walk from the station. Breakfast was good but get there early to be sure of croissants. Our luggage was kept safe on our last day until our train time, really helpful.

An old-fashioned hotel, not that smart, but charming. I had a lovely big room. Very quiet street, near the train station and in the newer part of town, with good restaurants nearby. The old town is about a 30 minute walk, but I think the new town is probably a better area to stay in.
