Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaI think it would’ve been nicer if there was an air conditioning system… it did get stuffy for a bit.
I loved the decor, it was super chic and modern. Newly renovated in an older building which I really enjoyed the contrast.

AustraliaThe heat couldn’t be turned down, so the only option was to open the window. This wasn’t too bad, really, but a bit inconvenient.
It’s a clean and comfortable hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. It’s well located for access to the Metro, too.

United StatesAs with most hotels in Paris, there was no air conditioning in the rooms, but they did provide a fan. The second floor room was VERY hot due to the low ceiling and never really cooled down. The windows were large but did not have screens on them. Our room looked into the center atrium area where there were birds and at night with the windows open we were worried they would fly in. We did have a lot of flying bugs due to not having screens on the windows. The room did not have a mini fridge, which was a bummer. Since there isn’t an ice machine in the hotel there was no way of keeping anything cold. As I mentioned before, the shower was SMALL! It was pricy for what you got!
The staff were simply amazing! Aaron, who works evenings and the woman who works days, were both very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. There was an issue with our room (I think plumbing) and we were not able to stay in it the first night. Aaron was apologetic and made other accommodations for us (two separate rooms for our family of four). He kept apologizing and felt horrible about the inconvenience, but made sure we had a safe place to sleep. Not sure what would have happened if they didn’t have the extra space. The hotel was welcoming and inviting. It was in a safe part of town, close to the subway although far from major attractions. There were many convenient stores near by, which made it easy to purchase drinks/snacks. the rooms were clean, updated and bright. We stayed in a Family Room, two floors with two large double beds, although we were suppose to have two twin beds in one of the rooms. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was new but very small. The shower was almost too small to actually shower.

FranceThe rooms are very small, there's barely any room to store a suitcase or personal items, the shower is really small too. We stayed there during the first week after renovation, doors weren't closing right, the WC was still under construction etc. Wifi only works close to the reception. Staff was not very hospitable or accommodating. I thought the pictures were a little deceiving and was expecting a better experience for the price point.

RomaniaI stayed 2 nights at this hotel. In the first night, the room in which I was checked-in had ANTS in the bed, and they didn’t want to change my room. After I insisted they finally gave me another. In the second night, in the second room, the person checked upstairs above my room made loud noises until 2 am and I couldn’t contact the reception because it was closed during night. Not to say the overall cleanliness was very poor.
The location is very good and close to two metro lines.

A nice hotel and worth considering booking. Right on tolbiac metro, so out of the direct city but certainly still Parisian. Lovely neighbourhood with a great park with lots of activity in it and Chinese district 30 seconds away. Staff were certainly nice. However, room was far too small. We booked for two of us and had to take turns getting ready, we couldn’t even pass each other. It was excessive. Asked to move and the staff were certainly friendly and professional but didn’t swap our rooms. Certainly not a complaint, it was a good hotel

United KingdomWe only used the garden area once, when we arrived, but the door leading to the garden was closed for the rest of our stay. And i do need to mention,if you are taller then 1,50m, you may need to book a room at a lower level. We had a room on the second floor and the bathroom roof was way too low to use the toilet, you will hit your head.If you are a man, there is no way to use it while standing. There is no mini fridge and be careful with the sockets,a travel adaptor won’t fit into the socket(but the host was really nice and advised us where we can buy one and she offered to lend us some chargers that will fit).
It is a great location,4min maybe from Tolbiac metro and 8 from Place d’italie metro, bus at 2min walk.A lot of shops near by and lots of restaurants, great neighborhood. The hotel has a small, but clean and nice garden area and the rooms was clean and had most of the amenities needed. The host helped us store our luggage and they even offered to open earlier to store it until check in and was fast in helping us with any questions we had which was much appreciated.
