FYI- Accessing the parking was through a very narrow gate that could only be approached from one direction.

The location was very close to town and fairly quiet. Breakfast was nice and included eggs, cheese, little croissants, granola, etc. The owners were lovely and very friendly. The other guests were nice to chat with and the rooms were comfortable. Because it was so cold we did not use the pool but it looked lovely as was the outdoor seating area. We enjoyed wine one afternoon in their dining room and they had a variety of drinks available. Free parking in secure lot was appreciated.

Our air conditioning was working, but there was something wrong with the fan, it was making a very loud noise which meant we didn't sleep very well our first night. However, the hosts were kindly able to move us to a different room where it was a bit quieter. They also don't allow you to consume food or drink not purchased from their own bar anywhere on the premises, not even your own room. They seem quite strict about this as there are multiple signs everywhere, it just felt odd.

The hotel is in an excellent location, a few minutes walking distance to the middle of town. The exterior of the hotel is very pretty and there is a nice outside dining area where we ate breakfast when the sun was shining. The breakfast was great, we thought it was a bit expensive (€14 pp) but there was so much food and a great variety so definitely good value for money. The pool was cold but refreshing. The hosts were very friendly.

The room ( a triple) was a little cramped as was the shower cubicle. There was only one key for the room which was an issue for us due to my son attending a wedding which finished in the early hours so I had to leave the door wedged open while I was asleep

We arrived late on a weekday, so had to do takeout for dinner as only takeout was available with a few of the closest restaurants close that day. Because it's not allowed to eat in the rooms or on the patio, we ate our dinner in our car. As Americans, this is something we do on the run from time to time, so it didn't particularly phase us, but it might not be for everyone.

The inn was absolutely charming. The bathroom was very nicely renovated. We were very lucky to stay on the day of the market in town, and we were invited to leave our car there after checking out of our room, so we could enjoy the market. That was special, and we appreciate it.

Check in at 3pm is later than in most hotels.

We had a great stay at this lovely hotel. The room was good and the mattress very comfortable, but what made our stay special was the garden and pool area. Being so hot, sightseeing in the afternoon was not an option and so we decided to spend the hottest hours of the day reading in the garden. Best decision ever!

The parking lot is very small - don't bring a large car!

Quiet, comfortable room with all the basics. Nice buffet breakfast with outdoor seating in a garden. Very kind and attentive owners. A little bit out of the center of St Rémy, but an easy 5 minute walk to get there.
