I would probably look to book a bigger room the next time we visit (and we will be back!), but that's only a small quibble

The staff were very helpful and so nice to deal with and the rooms were really clean. The location was superb as it was within close walking distance of the main commercial centre of the city, without all the hustle and bustle, and it felt quite safe at night. There is also a bus stop right outside the door which is very handy for travelling to and from the airport. We were made to feel so welcome that It felt like it was a home away from home. The shower/bathroom facilities were fantastic, and I always appreciate a large shower head with powerful water flow. The breakfast was not included in our original booking, but we decided to try it on our first morning. It was a well laid out continental breakfast that was so tasty, we ended up booking it in for the rest of our trip. As a 3 star hotel it's also great value for money, and we will definitely be staying here the next time we return to La Rochelle

Loved the old manor. The building was well maintained and had an elevator. The room had character, comfortable king size bed and a very modern bathroom. Lovely park nearby.

Our room was on the street, so we had a bit of noise from there, but it was quiet at night. We also would have preferred thicker curtains to keep out the light in the evening. But these are very minor things and didn't take away from a great stay.

Lovely building full of interesting art. Excellent communication and our engagement with all the members of the team was very helpful and positive. We appreciated being able to park on site (for a reasonable fee), and were also granted a late check out on request, which was helpful. Our room was small-ish, but comfortable with everything we needed. Ideal location for what we wanted to do in La Rochelle, and an easy walk to the centre. Breakfast was also a treat, with lots of home-baked goodies.

Our room was quite small but we knew that when we booked it. If you had more than one suitcase I would recommend that you book a larger room. Parking limited but on road parking around.

The hotel was perfect for our stay plenty of room for the three of us who were travelling. It was very close to the city centre approximately a 10 minute walk and not far from a regional park or the bus station. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel which brings you to and from the airport in La Rochelle.

We liked it all!

Beautiful historic building with contemporary and imaginative styling. Excellent position for leisurely stroll into the port and harbour areas and equally near beaches. Friendly helpful & professional staff. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room ( gorgeous tableware too!). Air conditioning in room was fantastic as was the super walk in shower with an enormous rainfall shower head.
