Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI missed some types of fruit for breakfast. Although I understand that it is a traditional French style cafe, (I expected it to have at least one type of fruit or granola.) which it didn't. I didn't like that the rooms were mixed, I didn't read the small print and I didn't know they were mixed rooms because something like that had never happened before, I was surprised when I got to the room and saw men in my room. I didn't find it pleasant at all, I think they could separate it for the same price.
I loved the reception staff, they were all very friendly and attentive. Tnbn I loved the fact that there were people who spoke Portuguese, as well as English and French. Super well prepared, different from other places that only speak French. Breakfast is served punctually and in a French style with delicious Brioches. It has a wonderful coffee machine where you can choose any type of coffee or chocolate. There are spaces to rest or simply talk to a friend you made on the spot... lol

BrazilIt was frustrating to arrive and see that in front of our windows there was scaffolding with construction work taking place on the facade of the building. We lost the possibility of having a view of the street due to this work and we didn't count on it. What bothered us was a somewhat excessive insistence from another receptionist called Alex in charging the tourist tax that should have been paid when we arrived, but was not charged at that moment. We felt like he was afraid we would leave without paying and that left us in a very uncomfortable situation. I understand the concern about having the fee paid, but he could have been a little more tactful dealing with the situation. (Attention, due to the Olympics the city tax t is now 3.25€ per person per night.)
The Hostel is very well located, very close to metro line 2, Anvers station, you can also walk from the hostel to Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. We were received by Alan in a very kind and receptive way and we went to see the room. We stayed in the double room with private bathroom. The room is good, small but the space is well used. Breakfast is good, it has juices, cheeses, breads, croissaints, yogurts (...) and a very good coffee machine! At check-out we were attended to by another very kind and fun person staff member. Despite the scaffolding issue and this small friction with the receptionist, the stay was good and we intend to return :)

ItalyThe shower's pressure wasn't so good. There are no sockets close to the top beds. The room was a bit dark.
The location is perfect, in the heart of Montmartre and close to 3 metro stations. The staff is super friendly, heads up for Joaquim and Alex who were always ready to help. The beds are comfortable and the room has a really good heater/air conditioner. The breakfast was really good for a hostel. They offer bread, croissant, pan au Chocolat, cheese, butter, yogurt, honey, juice, coffee, milk, tea and hot chocolate (no fruits included)

CanadaThere was no outlet in the bathroom and the top bunk I was sleeping in didn't have an outlet close by to the bed so I had to charge my phone etc. with outlets around the room. The room was a little dimly lit for my liking. I had to use my phone light sometimes to see.
Super friendly staff and spacious room for 4 people. The beds were comfy and good location as it was close to different metro lines. I didn't have their breakfast but it was offered every morning to guests.
