Very stylish room. Staff very polite and nice. Also I appreciated that you have the option to have a smaller breakfast for a very reasonable price instead of having to have the ''large'' breakfast.

The window in the room didn’t have a great view as it looked onto the back of other very nearby buildings. A room at the front of the hotel would’ve been nicer.

The breakfast is in the basement, with no windows. The food was also a bit limited, with some fruits and bread, same every day.

This hotel is perfectly located near all touristic places, but without the crowds. You can easily access several subway lines in a 600m walking distance. The room is bigger than average and the bed is super comfortable. It is above the average in Paris. All staff was attentive and very friendly.

Great location and neighbourhood. The hotel décor was cosy and nice. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view overlooking the church and was fair in size compared to other hotels in Paris, it had everything we needed. The bathroom size was also good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and we would book this hotel again whenever in Paris.

Everything was great for us.

Beautiful hotel! Great location in the second arrondissement, center Paris. The staff was amazing. Very welcoming. We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday and our 11th anniversary. The manager, Mr. Tebbi, was very friendly and made sure we were happy and content with our Suite. The junior suite was perfect for our family. Lots of space, especially for Paris, beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds. The sofa bed was already made up for us. Daily maid service was very nice. All together we had a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave! After checking out, we realized we left our iPad and couldn’t return to retrieve it. Mr. Tebbi and his staff made sure to return it to my home address. Outstanding. Again, we were very happy with the service and the warm welcoming vibe. Book this wonderful hotel! We can’t wait to return.

The inconvenience of the toilet being in a separate cubicle. The hand held shower over the bath was not ideal. The breakfast room downstairs was very attractively decorated however while there was a very good choice of cold continental items the two warm tureens which should have had scrambled eggs and bacon with sausage were often empty and when requested a small amount was refilled. Not sure it was worth E16 but that was my only complaint about the whole place.

I wanted somewhere with some French character rather than some modern hotel which could be anywhere in the world. This hotel is small, quaint and well-located with many sights within walking distance although the metro station is less than 5 minutes walk away. Room was a reasonable size with an extra large, comfortable bed. Despite being on the corner of a busy junction it was not particularly noisy at night so we slept well. Lovely view of the church from our little balcony. Decor was charming and there was plenty of storage space with use of a safe. Decent size bathroom with roll top bath and a hand-held shower. The toilet, however, is in a separate cubicle. The reception staff were very helpful, Zahira on arrival and particularly Rosine on departure as she dealt with a potential crisis. Because of the traffic during the Rugby weekend, our airport transport tried to contact us to arrange an early transfer. Unfortunately, I had left my phone in a nearby cafe and when Rosine tried to ring me it was answered by the cafe staff so she arranged for the taxi driver to walk round to collect it. Therefore, when I arrived back at the hotel unaware of anything Rosine reunited me with my phone. If it were not for her I would have left France without it!

It was so charming! We loved every part!

It was so cute and charming! It was also across from a beautiful church and had tons of great restaurants around. The street was quiet and quaint on the weekends, and a little more busy during the week, but still a great location! We took lime bikes essentially everywhere.

The toilet didn't have a health shower.

The location was brilliant! A lovely and safe neighbourhood with every tourist site within 15-25 minutes reach. Lots of lovely cafes around, chocolatiers and others shops too! We stayed in the Junior Suite overlooking the beautiful St Augustine Church. It was nice and spacious, lots of storage space, very well use of space, shelves, cupboards with lots of shelving. The two rooms were interconnected with a passage along which there is a large bathroom ( a bathtub and shower facility), therefore the rooms did not feel tight, well designed. The beds were large and I have to say were very comfortable (including the pillows) and we slept really well. Any amount of drinking bottled water available at no extra charge. We were a family of 3, the suite can well accommodate 4. However a note, the toilet is a separate cubicle from the bathroom, and no health shower. The rooms have large windows which can be opened for fresh air if one didn't want to use the AC. Breakfast was wholesome, Fresh juice, plenty of Coffee, fresh fruit, yogurts, assortment of breads, cakes, pancakes, (hot and cold breakfast options). The team at Maison Malesherbes, led by Manager Tebbi Djamel was just fantastic - very responsive, warm and so hospitable right from booking to check out! They also accommodated our request for a late check out which was great! Many thanks to Djamel, Rosine, Zahira and others for making our trip so very special! Merci beaucoup!

First room I got was freshly spray painted and the lacquer smell was very strong and toxic. Fortunately, the manager is very understanding and kind so he switched my rooms quickly and gave me a beautiful view of the church.

Beautifully decorated, safe and central location. Great staff and attentive cleaning service. Quick response to any issues, quaint breakfast space downstairs.

William and the black girl at the front desk was lovely and very nice to talk to! the bed was comfortable and clean my only issue was when I checked in the bathroom was a little dirty but that got taken care of fast! The area was perfect and central and I was there during the heatwave and they had really nice air conditioning

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel anyway but I didn't love the basement dining room with no windows or natural light. However, I imagine in the winter it is very cosy. We were there on a boiling hot weekend so it didn't appeal.

The location, the the 8th Arrondisement was excellent. Walkable to the main sites but also close to a metro station. The hotel is quirky and delightfully decorated, the exterior very 'French' with wrought iron balconies and a beautiful view for us over a busy main road to the beautiful Eglise St Augustin. Despite the busy road the room was quiet, the beds very comfy and the shower delightfully powerful!
