Fabulous location, very tranquil. The breakfast was the best I have had in a long time. Fresh squeezed orange juice, absolutely fresh croissants and bread, home-made jam, wonderful coffee.

Very charming house and host, Didier was so welcoming and we felt very comfortable there. So peaceful and quiet, the setting was perfect. After a good night's sleep we were presented with a wonderful breakfast feast. Hope to return next year on our travels.

Absolutely nothing, loved every moment

I can't tell you how amazing our stay was. We are a family of 4. All facilities were excellent, it was like home from home. We will definitely be back again. What a beautiful way to spend the evening in Francs on our way to the South. Thank you Diddier. X

A great way to end our holiday. We stopped here on our way back to Calais. It is in a lovely quiet spot. We received an extremely warm welcome from Didier and his chickens 🐔. As mentioned in other reviews, Didier doesn't speak any English, so we had an amusing time communicating with my GCSE business French grade C!!! Our rooms were charming and extremely clean. We had our dogs with us, and we enjoyed a walk around the local area. Didier offered to book a restaurant for us but we had stopped at a supermarket so had some food. He laid the table for us and gave us crockery, etc, so we had a lovely meal looking out over the French countryside. Our breakfast was a French delight with fresh croissants, baguette, home made jams, cheese, cake and coffee. Payment can only be made by cash or international bank transfer. We will definitely be back when next passing. Merci Didier.

It's a little difficult to find, not actually being IN the village of the address, so investigate before you set out. But it's definitely worth it

The warmest friendliest welcome, fabulous Manoir, the host couldn't do enough to help, the facilities were like home, and I had to put a holt on my simple breakfast, growing and growing! My dog was totally welcomed too, in fact I think he nearly got kidnapped. felt like I was leaving a friend when I departed.

Great stopover on our trip back to the uk. Didier, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful. We bought a lovely picnic with us and with Didier’s assistance ate in the garden on a beautiful summer evening. Super breakfast in the morning. Didier is a charming man with a lovely house!

Beautiful property, peaceful location, fantastic and plentiful breakfast, and very welcoming and helpful host. A wonderful place to stop overnight or spend a few days. Didier made the short stay very memorable, and we loved the chickens and their eggs!

Absolutely nothing, this place was absolutely amazing!

Upon arrival Didier welcomed us and seemed very friendly and hospitable. This proved to be true further into the stay. Breakfast was exceptional, going downstairs to fresh pastries and jam. Fully recommend this stay to everyone including families.

The host was so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was local and delicious. He couldn't have done more to be hospitable and make us comfortable for the night. The location is stunning, and Manoir De Rouille is a real hidden gem. We hope to return again and again.

A tranquil rural setting. A traditional ancient Manor House The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It was good for our overnight stop but would make a good base for a longer stay to explore the area

Absolutely stunning property! So relaxing in the middle of nowhere. Didier the owner made our stay exceptional. He was so kind and thoughtful and really wanted us to be comfortable. He spoke very little English, much like my French, but he used google translate which made us laugh! We are dinner before we arrived as there wasn’t much nearby. Didier made us the most amazing breakfast the following day, he cooked it all fresh and provided so much food. I’d love to go back again if given the chance.

Very unique. Didier who is the host I lovely and friendly. You need to be aware he speaks no English so we were glad to have our daughter who does. The place is really beautiful and middle of nowhere but there is a small town with a good restaurant 10 mis drive away.

Our second visit as a stopover for the Channel Tunnel and South France. Good location to break up the journey. Great host - very friendly and attentive to needs. Good communication throughout. The breakfast is superb - delicious bread and homemade jam and local cheese. Plus fresh laid eggs. Perfect start to the day!

Lovely old rural property (full of character/charm) run by a very kind, helpful and hospitable host. We had two very good sized rooms, a twin and a double, which shared a bathroom. We were offered drinks on arrival and had a great breakfast the following morning (at a time of our choosing), with fresh eggs from the Manoir chickens.

Everything, we arrived after a long/hot motor ride journey and were greeted with a cold beer and a warm welcome, our host Didier could not have been more helpful and the addition of the chickens fresh eggs for breakfast was fantastic, this was for us a great start to our time in France and I would happily return ❤️

Didier, Didier & Didier... He (Didier the host) was just the most fantastic welcoming host you could ever ask for. Even though he cannot speak English, we couldn't speak French we managed to communicate and chat... sometimes with the help of Google translate. Our overnight stay was wonderful. Didier welcomed us with a cold drink, took breakfast order asked if we needed to eat and then called & booked us a fabulous meal approx 10 minutes drive away. The farmhouse is absolutely lovely in a remote village Next morning breakfast was rustic and plentiful... the freshest eggs, various local honey and cheeses... awesome. We wanted to stay longer. Overall fantastic and great value for money. Would love one day to return! Thank you Didier.

Beautiful setting with good paths and quiet roads to walk our dog! Really good for dog friendly with an excellent host and wonderful breakfast. Didier made us feel special as his first Irish guests. Good for our French too!
