The sound proofing of the room was below an expected standard, our neighbours could be heard going to the bathroom at night, for example. The sound of their TV / radio was audible in our room. A quiet night’s sleep is a bare minimum requirement from a hotel. There is currently a major construction project opposite the hotel, this will generate noise and already obstructs views of the mountains beyond the lake.

Elegant, well decorated and maintained old building. Our room had a nice view of trees and the museum next door. Reception staff were very young and very friendly. The room and communal spaces in the hotel were immaculately clean.

The hotel is within walking distance of the SNCF train station, though it is a lot of uphill walking for 10 to 15 mins, depending on how fast you walk and how much weight you are pulling in your suitcase. But without the luggage, it is close to the main city square and walk street.

Very nice hotel, in the style of a traditional hotel of medium size. Clean and room was decent size with a view overlooking the hotel garden and a cathedral. It was lovely to sit in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine and read for a while. The hotel has parking, though we arrived by train but worth knowing.

The room was a little constrained, and the double bed was quite small.

The hotel is slightly away from the centre but only a short walk down the hill to local restaurants and shops. The garden isn't as large as it looks in photos, but is a pleasant place for coffee or an evening drink, and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We left a couple of jackets in the closet and they phoned us very soon after we left to let us know. The Musée Faure right next door has a great art collection, including a world-class set of Rodin sculptures.

I was there for 1 night as a stopover on the way to Italy, it was a nice hotel that's surrounded by cramped streets, we didn't have the time for a good look around.

Just disappointing that the dogs weren't welcome in the restaurant. We just travelled through Italy, and they're welcome in most restaurants, even fine dining.

Well maintained location, offered a family room. Great breakfast selection and very friendly people working at the hotel. Late arrival on short notice was flawlessly organised and they started the car charger automatically in the morning - great service! Hotel itself is in an older building, well maintained with attention to detail. Rooms and furniture are not the most modern, but it absolutely met our expectations.
