Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomHidden gem in Paris : I keep coming back to this hotel and I'm never disappointed after at least 5 stays ! Rooms are small and compact but cute and comfortable and everything has been well thought through. Breakfast in the basement is good. Location is superb - there's a lot that can be done within walking distance around the hotel.

SwitzerlandIf you are looking for a large room to spend time in while not lying down in bed, this might not be the hotel for you. Despite being upgraded, the room was rather small, and the restroom even more so. The sink was very unpractical to wash one's hands – the tap is borderline too short to pour water in the sink…– and there doesn't seem to be much of a ventilation system to drag out the humidity. Thankfully, the weather was nice and I could open the window of the room.
The bed was very comfortable, the desk in the room a bit small to work, but there's plenty of space downstairs to work in the lobby. There's also a self-service bar in the lobby, making it the perfect place to chill while waiting for others or when returning from a long walk in Paris. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is well located, with subway nearby. If you are hungry in the morning, Union boulangerie at the end of the street is one of the best in Paris (in my opinion).

AustriaThe bathroom usability might have been a bit tricky for someone elderly or robust.
The modern design. The room was small but nicely and smart designed. The quality of the breakfast with a good choice between savory and sweet. The location is great (walking distance to two metro station). Great neighborhood with a lot of choice for bars/brasseries.

AustraliaA comfortable twin room in a great location, 15 mins walk from Gare du Nord, with easy access to metro stations. Solid breakfast, but not huge, in the French style. Some nice space in the foyer to sit and work too. Nice neighbourhood.

TaiwanThe location is very convince if you take the eurostar, it just 10 mins aways from the station by walking. It also close to metro M7 line (4mins by walking) which can take you to central Paris includes Galeries Lafayette Haussmann and Louvre Museum and you dont need to switch the line. The hotel people are very kind and happy to help, they are here 24/7, with warming and happy face. The only flaw is room is kinda small, but the bed is quite comfortable, the shower is quite nice with really strong and hot water. Def will come back to stay in this hotel when I visit Paris again.

BelgiumWe consistently received one towel although we were 2. You can here people in the hallway which wasn't too big of a deal for us since there are only 6 rooms on one floor and so the times you hear people are very limited. You could here the metro line distantly which didn't annoy me but I could understand that people are annoyed by it if you are sensitive to it.
Great location in the center of Paris on walking distance of a metro station. They have an extensive breakfast and although the rooms are tiny they are very well equipped with a good bed and a modern bathroom!

CanadaI moved to this hotel for the air conditioning and my first room was not acceptable and the toilet area was awkward. I was able to change rooms the next day, but no compensation was offered, I had to ask and this was embarrassing. The breakfast was good, although it would be nice to have fresh fruit daily. The lobby area was nice and a lovely place to meet and enjoy a beverage, however, sometimes this area was not well stocked.

United KingdomRoom was a little noisy as walls seemed quite thin so could hear the rooms next to ours music and conversation quite late. More space for putting clothes would be great as we were there a few nights.
Friendly & helpful staff, Good breakfast, large comfortable bed. Throughly enjoyed our stay!...if we return to Paris would definitely stay again ....Thank you😊
