The architect and interior designers were having good laughs when designing the place. It’s the opposite of user friendly. The receptionist spoke English until I complained about something. Suddenly she said “I dont speak English”. I didn’t see any other staff but receptionists and the kitchen lady who was super nice. Breakfast lacked fresh things: only bananas and bread where of the day but the rest was processed.

Nice enough. It needs a lick of paint on floor and rooms but in general is in good shape.

Hotel is a good 15 minutes outside the town centre, so needed a rather expensive taxi to get us there and back for the evening as I didn't fancy looking for parking and wnated a drink after a long drive there.

Friendly receptionist, good sized room which was quiet and had everything that you need for an "overnighter". Excellent breakfast, with a lovely outdoor area to have it in. Pool area excellent, considering the location of the hotel.

14 sqm with a full French bed in it turns out to be too small, just 1-2 sqm more and it would have been fine. As is, one cannot do all three of: (1) have a place for luggage, (2) be able to open the mini-fridge, (3) sit at the desk. Note: The smallness of the room did NOT lead to any reduction of the rating - as the size is very clearly stated when booking the room! It is simply something to be aware of. The overall rating of 7 represents a well satisfied but not thrilled OVERALL customer experience as well as OVERALL value received for price paid.

We had asked for a walk-in shower as my wife is partially disabled. This request was granted and our room was neat and clean with a bathroom with disability catered for. However it was a big shower area which had no curtain to deflect the water, and whoever had done the drainage “levelling” had failed catastrophically in their task as the water sped away from the drain and filled the bathroom floor. Management need to review the situation or provide an ark ! !

The rooms could be cleaned for dust and cobwebs a bit more and the housekeeping staff weren’t the happiest bunch. The air conditioning is loud and doesn’t work great and the duvet very thick so it wasn’t the best nights sleep. The rooms are small so if you’re there for more than one night with two people then it could get a much but it was perfectly fine for a nights stop.

Once inside it was nicely done. The scent they used was lovely. The breakfast was excellent as were the staff, and the outdoor seating area was really nice. A pool that was big enough. Nice lobby area for drinks. They sell honey with lemon which is delicious.

The hotel is an ideal place for a comfortable stay in Valence especially for guests with bicycles.

The plug in the sink was stuck shut, reported in morning and maintenance will fix it.

Have stayed here a couple of times. Great for an overnight stop for onward journey to South of France, close proximity to motorway A7, clean comfortable rooms, with aircon, tea and coffee making facilities and small fridge if needed. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast both hot and cold, great selection. Car parking plentiful and behind gates. Not the cheapest overnight stop but convenient.

Room size is a little small.

The hotel is modern, very nicely decorated (lamps, pillows, furniture), smells good and has a very nice feel to it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfast was amazing! Everything tasted super good (home-made jams, pastries, yoghurt, freshly-squeezed orange juice, bread, coffee) and was beautifully presented. Highly recommend it, I would stay here again without hesitation.

The restaurant in the evening didnt have a lot of choice. The service was very slow and the soup we ordered arrived luke warm after a very long waiting time.

When entering the hotel you were straight away into the festive season. Very homely and cosely done
