Breakfasts were varied options to meet all tastes. The staff are magnificent.

Restaurant food was DREADFUL. Chef could not even cook spaghetti bolognaise and ruined every other meal on the menu. Breakfast buffet - bread very ordinary, pastries dreadful, cereal selection a joke (rice bubbles, coco pops, seeet cheap muesli), yoghurt was pink and runny, grilled tomatoes were always barely ripe, eggs cooked in kitchen were dreadful (short order cook at buffet was competent and made good omelettes). We stopped eating dinner there after one night. Sack the chef! He is an impostor and their reputation is ruined. Buy your own supplies and a cheap cooker and prepare your own meals! No fire dancing, no musicians on site, no nightly buffet anymore, not really enough proper activities or entertainment, Current owners need to fix a lot of things - maintenance etc - the resort is really falling apart at the seams.

Distance from Nadi airport is just under 2 hours not 1 hour as advertised. The place is run down and needs some upgrades and better cleaning. On arrival, our room had no towels, phone did not work and there was a stain on the sofa. We reported this but the only thing we did get was towels after asking twice. There was no room service menu until 2 days after we checked in. We ordered room service once and it took an hour to be delivered. We asked for milk once as housekeeping didn’t replenish it and it never came. I had to use my phone to make the calls as the room phone was never fixed despite reporting it twice. Dining area gets really hot and some of the ceiling fans don’t work. The food offerings are OK. Hot Breakfast options are repeated which can get boring if ur there for a week or so. The Japanese restaurant has a major service problem. We waited over an hour for food. On our second visit - same thing - we left without eating and reported it to the hotel manager. Hopefully, this gets addressed but we never went back so who knows.

Good location. Booked deluxe beachfront Bure so had direct access to beach. Snorkelling was amazing but recommend u bring ur own gear. Bed was clean and comfortable. Outdoor shower was also nice. Omelette station at breakfast was nice. Most of the staff are really lovely and friendly. We never use the pool but it was always full of kids who seemed to love it.

The tide regulated the time one could go snorkling to a few hours in the afternoon. That was a disappointment.

Unfortunately I felt let down by the food. I was hoping for local dishes, and variety of fresh produce etc. It felt like sub par pub fair. The curry’s were lovely though!

There is nothing to not like...

Awesome breakfast provided, for a breakfast included deal it was excellent and would highly recommend. Pool/slide is great especially for kids. Dinner has great variety to choose from and the entertainment was top notch on the nights we were there.

We liked everything about Hideaway Resort. Potential guests need to understand it is a value for money property with staff with big welcoming hearts. This isn't 5 star but we loved the more authentic Fijian experience.

Breakfast offered a good selection of food including made to order omlette or eggs. Pool wasn't busy which we loved and it also has a great view of the ocean.

The facility itself is aging and could use some maintenance in some areas.

It was great that they had food there. At breakfast they would custom make you an omelette. There was a good selection of other foods there too. We ate dinner there twice. The food was good. I just wish there were better gluten free options. We didn't use the pool. The ocean was right there and beautiful. The bungalows were very cute. The grounds were planted with pretty plants and well kept. The people running the place were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were very run down, and bathroom just didn't look/seem clean. Towels were old and stained. Pool loungers were very stained and dirty. Pool could do with extra cleaning. Drinks at bar were over priced.

Lovely location right on beach, nice variety of buffet breakfast, and other menu. staff were lovely. A list of activities to do at the resort daily- very fun! As there is not much else to do around the area. Japanese restaurant was exceptional. Slide into pool was awesome!

The whole property is pretty rundown and needs refurbishment but is OK for a 3 star rated resort.

The cocktails were 🔥. Shoutout to the team at Yumi restaurant for the amazing dinner.Breakfast was also pretty decent with an egg station.
